I really thought about if i recommend this game or not but over all i don't. The map is really good it looks beautiful but that's it and that's not worth the time this game took to make or worth the money you have to pay. Its just like COD or FIFA its the same game over and over again but with even less content. I only spend this much time in it to complete all the achievements if i wouldn't care about that i would have probably played less way less. There's nothing to do after your done with the different races and side story missions which are just as bad and boring as in the older games but they made them even more easy to complete. the garage builder and event lab builder are 1to1 the same as before with no improvements at all and they copy every prop from fh5 and just added a few new ones and we still don't have a normal guardrail to place. The weekly playlists are just the same copy paste things as every other game and the rewards are really boring wheelspins or cars that were in the playlist of last month. You maybe get around 4 new cars a month witch is disappointing because that all the "content" you will get till the release of the DLC. I completed the weekly playlist challenges in one to max two hours of playtime and than there's not really anything more to do for the week. the tuning is just 1to1 the same as in the holder games with zero improvements the classes are just as unbalanced and some tuning bug cars the same as on the older games. And now it looks like we get another LEGO DLC witch is the worst thing imaginable because there is so much potential we get goofy cars again great really great i love to have unbalanced Lego cars in my lobbys. The leaderboards are just loser who use glitched cars and abuse glitches while Microsoft or playground games wont ever fix them it never happened and never will. so yeah its NOT worth 70 euros and SPECIALLY not 120 euros for a LEGO DLC and than maybe a good DLC in 3 years. There's no rally mode from fh5 there are almost no body kits and only Forza aero the lobbys still crash the servers are still bad the online lobbys only have trolls and meta class abusers some cars may corrupt your game files and you lose all your stuff the event lab is just as complicated and bad to use like the old game its basically everything the old game had with zero improvement and some stuff is even worse now accept for the map the map is beautiful . Just over all its fun for the first few hours but after that there's nothing to do and there's no new content accept for the two DLC whenever they release its NOT worth the money at all. I'm disappointed i didn't expect them to reinvent the racing genre but i expected them to at least have more content and more fun stuff to do or add more stuff over time but they didn't for the first two months and probably wont anytime soon. Hey maybe they add really lazy stuff at the end of the life cycle in 5 years just like they did in fh5 with the weird event lab 7 cards game mode witch had only bug abusing maps or the realms mode that no one ever played. EDIT: here's the "content" we got for this month of august: 4 new car pass cars 4 new seasonal playlist cars a new outfit and 2 new horns witch will be unlocked by doing the same boring challenges every single week back to back and a new time attack circuit witch is actually cool and the circuit is the only actual gameplay thing we got. No new races no new events no new history rewards no new stories no new content at all just some cars for people who paid 120 euros and for people who are willing to do the same thing every week to unlock them and a new short 1 minute circuit. right now all i did was open the game looked at the new cars drove the circuit a few times with my fav cars and close the game for me this update witch is designed for a month is already boring after 15 min of playing because i don't see why i should take my time to complete the same recycled races and challenges every week to get some wheelspins and recycled cars i can already buy from the car store to get 4 cars i don't even care about really

I am uninstalling this game as soon as I say this, it is wrong to delete constructive criticism from players in the forum. IT IS JUST PLAIN WRONG. Now I am done.
requires a photo id just to use core game features
I only played a little bit of FH5 using Game Pass so I basically switched over from Forza Horizon 4. Coming over from FH4, FH6 is a disappointment. It's more of the same and at the same time LESS of the same. They took out a whole bunch of fun multiplayer events from FH4, and there's just nothing to do after getting gold wristband. The lack of clubs makes the game feel dead. The absolute WORST thing about FH6 compared to FH4 is just how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STINGY the wheelspins are... You get car after car in FH4 spins while much of the time in FH6 spins you get ♥♥♥♥. I PAID a lot of MONEY for this game and they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me like that?! I'm forced to do a stupid cheat map just to get spins, and because I got in a little late THEY NERFED ALL THE CHEATS that people can use to get around the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wheel spin system!! ♥♥♥♥ this game, ♥♥♥♥ the publisher, ♥♥♥♥ Microsoft.
Unbelievable waste of beautiful map and overall location. We arrive in Japan, the country most known for crazy tuning, drifting culture, togue racing and car meets. But as soon as we login to the game we greeted with stupid amount of dirt races and gymkhana events... 1. Where are the crazy drift zones? Half of what we got are on dirt. 2. Why there is only 5 touge races? There so many climbs to mountains but we got 5 of them. 3. Why lobby is only for 12 people? All meet zones are empty. 4. Wheel spins in 2026? The game just throws a bunch of super cars in your face instead of normal campaign with interesting characters and good progression. 5. Where are tuning parts? I'll take 20% of current amount of cars but give us cool tuning parts for them. Making decals gets boring very fast. 6. Why we are not teaching new people how to drive and racing etiquette? Online racing is completely ruined by rammers...yet again a normal campaign would solve this issue. Just copy what Grand Turismo does with driving school events. 7. Monthly events feel like chore and boring Its a sterilized game with corpo vision of racing. Very disappointed of overall execution of this part of the game.
This game does only 3 things right: map, physics, and graphics. Yes, they are incredibly important for the racing genre, however everything else just reeks of laziness. Yes, it's fun to drive around. Yes, that's where the depth of the game ends. Yes, it's somehow still the best modern racing game on the market. The map is amazing, the department that was responsible for making it was the only one that actually worked on the game. It's pretty, it's enjoyable to drive around, it has plenty of elevation, it feels authentic to the setting. Simply put, it's the best map this series has seen, and probably one of the greatest maps in the whole genre. I'd even go as far as saying that if the map were replaced with FH5's, this game would end up being worse than FH5, which is already the bottom of the barrel for Forza. Graphics are amazing and optimized. However, there is no art direction. They do not try to make the game look interesting with post effects or color balance. It has unmatched fidelity for the listed system requirements, but it's absolutely and inexcusably bland. There is no individual style in the render aside from it being the definition of "safe realism". Nights are bright to not scare away the dimwits who only know how to accelerate; forests are unnaturally illuminated to make the same people feel comfortable while driving through them; seasons also have minimal impact, even in winter every road is perfectly cleaned because people whined about cars being undriveable in FH4 (yes, they chose to make seasons meaningless gameplay-wise instead of making a feature to auto-apply setups or even just winter tires). The physics are just Forza Horizon physics. Over 6 games they gradually improved them to the point where it's really hard to find any holes in them. That doesn't mean there are any, though. For me, the greatest fault of these games is the fact that any car can be good at everything. Especially when it comes to off-road. Hypercar? Slap some rally tires and you have a Group B machine in the palm of your hand. But don't worry, even such a minimal amount of effort is needless, you can just jump onto dirt and drive completely fine: 99% of the trees here are made of frail, dry sticks; handling is barely impacted by dirt and grass. Roads are basically optional, for every car, and these games have been going even further in this direction with every installment. Did I have fun just with these 3 aspects? Definitely. Would I actually recommend buying it to someone who isn't itching for a AAA racing game? Absolutely not. Especially at full price. At 30%+ off and if nothing better has come out yet? Yeah, sure. Why? This isn't really a game. It's a demo for their unmatched game engine at best, which this series has been since FH3. Story? Forget about it. The best they can do is unrelated mission batches with awful dialogue that was written by their HR department - the epitome of "everyone is happy and everyone is welcome, no you can't frown - that's offensive". There's no edge, no spice, no uniqueness, no conflict, absolutely nothing. The game would actually become better if every piece of this "story" were to be removed. Music? There are maybe 10 memorable songs through all radio stations. Half of them are censored. No the censorship isn't a simple radio edit. They think that words like "blood", "kill", "scars", "god" are the definition of satan and must be muted. Then why even add these tracks, you prude ♥♥♥♥♥? Progression? The best they can do is add vague car rank limits to events. The game still rains million-dollar cars on you from the get-go. However, the further you get into the game, the more the means through which this rain happens (wheelspins - their version of gambling) get exhausted, leaving you with FEWER rewards as you progress. This is probably the only game I can remember where you get LESS in the endgame than in the very beginning. Yes, this is somehow better than whatever they did in FH3-5. AI is awful; they drive like you aren't there, they lack any kind of unique quirks about them even though the pool of AI names is identical every time. Once again, it's just bare minimum. Somehow, a racing game set in Japan is 50% off-road events, 50% road events. Oh, and 50% of these road events don't even count toward "progression", so to reach the "end" you actually have to struggle through 75% of events not even being on the road; with some jumps, drifts and speed zones sprinkled here and there. Sounds very fitting for Japan, right? Maybe there's some race event diversity? Nope. Sprints and circuits, maybe they sprinkle in extremely generous timers in some "side story" events, so even the biggest dimwit could progress. That's it. No drift races, no speed trap races, no knockout, no car deliveries, no boss battles, no championships to combine race types. The car customization rework was a marketing ploy, they removed bad old wings and bumpers to add new bad wings and bumpers. In a game set in Japan. Laughable. The character customization is awful. Everyone is ugly, everyone is somewhere between a man and a woman, 100 million prosthetics, 20 thousand hearing aids, no beards, no facial sculpting, nothing. Yes, this aspect also, somehow, got worse since FH4. There's also their FOMO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ playlist - their attempt at live service. You redo the same races with different cars, or take photos for most of it. No, they can't even be bothered with mapping out some new tracks weekly. Yes, they have the gall to add exclusive rewards for participation in this nonsense. I genuinely think that if you rip out this game's engine and use it to remake some 2000-early 2010s racing game (even though I abhor remakes and remasters), it would become the best racing game ever made, instead of the best racing game tech demo.
