i got this game on my xbox 360 it was xbox live indie game got multiple people into it and spent hours amongst days playing. in 2024 still worth it and a great throwback to a better gaming era.
Mine craft without the mining. Tickles the 'tism.
A little dream came true. Finally on PC. thanks
Great game to return to after playing originally on xbox indie games. Do not pass this up, its worth playing and very fun! The game works on steam deck too.
Absolute Cinema
Loved this game on 360, was very happy to see it here and its such a good port, the ability to recover 360 worlds is amazing.
The game is great i played it on the xbox 360 it still has a lot of bugs and porting issues like xbox 360 avatars but thats fine but the shadow man is now a robot i hope this game gets more recognition its a fun game but i have not done multiplayer there are no people hosting i hope that there is a more fleshed out and easy way of hosting not just porting forward so multiplayer is more access
i grew up on this masterpiece
First thing to get out the way: Ignore Steam's compatibility report for SteamOS/Deck; it's marked unsupported right now but the game works flawlessly out the box. ----------- My friends and I used to play the hell out of this game on 360 before Minecraft X360 released. I haven't touched FortressCraft since that fateful day, but since the 360 has gained some new traction, I've found myself on this game for the sake of nostalgia, to the point that I've now, for some reason, spent money to get it on Steam Deck. Oh boy the game basically hasn't changed since back then either. A few quality-of-life upgrades to suit life on PC, but other than that, still the same old buggy mess that it was back then. Nostalgia indeed. I can't help but love it though, for some reason. So simple, where Minecraft has become a bit... bloated sometimes. At the core, this is still the same Xbox Live indie game it always was, just ported over. So most things are exactly the same. The most annoying thing I've just found out? The spawn tower; that disgusting, hideous slab of reinforced rock? That thing now resets itself every time the world is opened. So the days of using the console to modify your spawn tower to your liking? Yeah you'll need to stick to the 360 version if you wanna do that.
I played the original game on Xbox 360 back in the day. I was so sad the day they announced that the indie store on the marketplace was closing. I thought there goes my chance of being able to play this game again. I decided to Google this game earlier last year and I discovered that an anniversary edition was made. I had never been so happy! First off, I want to thank the creator for releasing the game to PC. This game is great for those who like voxel games with a more creative aspect. You can create custom blocks from the workshop, it allows for more creativity. The graphics are beautiful, I find the the textures in this game to be one of my favorite parts about it. I enjoy the hunt for the relics at the beginning. This game is nostalgic and it was also my 1st voxel game. It will always have a special place in my heart.
