About
"No strategy. Just witness the end."
"Forgive or Finalize" is a short-form, experimental psychological thriller visual novel. You confront the mysterious Finn through a monitor in a confined space. There are no grand reversals, intricate puzzles, or strategic elements. As "Jamie," your only role is to stand witness to the absurd situation that "Finn" unfolds before you, and see it through to its conclusion.
This is not a game about making choices—it is an experience about witnessing.
If you enjoy short visual novels and narrative experiences driven by atmosphere and direction, you will find a dense psychological experience in a brief playtime.
If you are looking to freely branch the story through your choices, or seeking strategy and puzzle elements, this game may not meet your expectations. The choices in this game do not offer gameplay freedom—they function as part of the narrative.
Dialogue and Absurd Developments: You will face the questions posed by "Finn" on the other side of the screen. However, in this confined space, you are not granted true freedom. Choices are presented, but the story will not bend to your will.
Interactive Direction: More than just reading—intervene in the story through direct actions such as "picking up" or "consuming" the mystery capsule.
Psychological Pressure: Experience a sense of claustrophobia and heart-pounding tension. When you realize the true nature of this "dialogue," your reality may be forced to transform.
(1) Sudden loud noises, flashing lights, and shocking psychological depictions are included.
(2) Streaming and fan content are welcome, but major spoilers (the core of the ending) in thumbnails or social media are strictly prohibited.

Short and interesting story game. Great to pass a little time. I really like the design of the game and I thought the endings were pretty neat. I thought the concept and story were pretty cool too. Went into this blind and I liked it :)

좀 더 다양한 결말과 선택지가 있었으면 좋았을 것 같다. 그래도 인물 설정이랑 스토리가 좋아서 덕분에 여운 진하게 느낄 수 있었음.
The game "story" is nonsensical, and the player has no way to influence anything (UI stops you from making choices). I "finished" it and got both achievements but was more confuse at the end than at the beginning. I have no idea what this story is meant to portrait or why anything happened.
incredibly short LINEAR game disguised as a branching narrative by illuding the player with false, meaningless choices. dont manipulate your players into thinking there's more depth where there isnt, that is simply not interesting, and poor game design :/
great game, bit slow at first and leaves a lot to interpretation. as other reviewers have said, it's not meant to be a choice-based game. it's more just a narrative you experience and your viewpoint as the player does come in handy near the end. also its free, so give it a spin. overall rating: recommended
