ForeVR Pool VR

yep. don't worry about that one review. It runs BEAUTIFULLY on the valve index.i'm about an hour in. i only wish the pool shooting movement could be more like actual cue play irl, instead of it being more like playing the trombone / hitting a hammer. otherwise fantastic game it's done so well i'm going to spend a lot of time in here. it is so cool that you can play youtube in the background and watch the video like it's on a screen there lol .

My review is actually mixed. In short, overall I don't have heart to give it a negative review because VR really needs games of this quality, where it feels like developers actually care and put some decent effort, and all of that at surprisingly low price. But at the same time controls are absolutely awful. Visual and sounds are pretty good, there's nice main lobby, different "arenas" etc., the art style doesn't aim for realism and thanks to that it's looks great. There's all the sounds needed and even some music. Many game modes, including multiplayer, singleplayer and training. But the controls... Basically you hold a button to jump into different (shooting?) perspective which feels awkward and confusing. To make things worse then you need to hold another button to lock the angle and only then you can do proper movement to hit the ball. Because of that at both stages your movement is one dimensional (height works a bit for some more specific movements but it pretty much doesn't matter) and has surprisingly little to do with your irl hand movement which is actually one of the most important things about the whole VR. It takes away all the joy because it's kind of system that feels like flat games, just in vr. I'd say wait for them to fix it but I don't think it's ever gonna happen as it seems to be core mechanic and is here to stay. So, I think I'll still play some more of it and I think it might be worth checking out, developers still deserve at least that but unfortunately I'm not too happy with this game.

Couldn't connect to server in China

Nur 2 Spieler möglich. im Trailer sieht man 4 Spieler. Aber wohl nur für oculus und nicht für Steam. Leider Daumen runter und refunded.... PS: wurde inzwischen wohl behoben und es können nun wohl auch hier 2 spielen und 2 zuschauen...

Для запуска в РФ требуется ВПН. Игру запустил - поиграл. Игру бы оставил, если бы не этот геморой. Хотя это не сложно , но это в любом случае затрудняет запуск. Пускай делают сервера не от МЕТЫ и тогда жители РФ тоже смогут запускать игру без ВПН. А пока деньги верну. Ставлю палец вниз - хотя в целом игра нормальная. Из-за ВПН палец вниз.

L'ergonomie de la table de billard n'est clairement pas pratique du tout. Si vous êtes sur le rebord de la table et que vous maintenez la gâchette gauche pour lock votre position de tir vous verrez le corps de votre personnage et vous serez obligé de vous rapprocher, IRL, de la boule blanche pour la taper. Vous verrez à chaque fois le même NPC, que ce soit en partie ou dans la pièce. C'est bête, car si vous jouez contre un NPC femme blonde par exemple (avatar visible de la sorte), ça sera ENCORE le même NPC qui pop. Malheureusement il y personne en multi. (fait en stream)
