nazi devs decide to arbitrarily remove linux support since they cant farm data from it. disgusting, everyone behind this decision deserves to be instantly fired

Ubisoft is blocking Linux. After YEARS of it working just fine they suddenly decide to actively block it. They've also gone the way of manly, uglified women anno 2026. Full ESG, DEI, forced diversity, Sweet Baby Inc., etc etc.

Ubichiasse décide d'empécher les utilisateurs steam OS de jouer... En 2026 donc on bannit les joueurs linux qui sont des clients ayant payés pour un service, cet editeur ce fait un devoir de rester à contre courant & chier systématiquement sur sa communauté, ca devient un art à ce niveau !

I'm having to write this on my main account because on the account I play For Honor on I haven't spent money on Steam and got gifted the game by a friend so i can't leave reviews (an account that I had to make because Ubisoft is braindead with the way they do cross-progression account linking and their support tells you to go ♥♥♥♥ yourself, so I had to make an entirely new steam account and link that one), so in actuality I have way more time on this game on PS4 and Steam and been playing it since it had a console release. This game often pisses me off with their poor management of it, but this time they completely DROPPED LINUX SUPPORT!!!! If you use Linux you CANNOT play anymore. One of my friends, we will not be able to play with anymore. As much as I was hoping this game could make a comeback, unless they reverse this, now I want it to die. Whoever made the decision to ♥♥♥♥ over an entire OS in a time where everyone is flocking to it because of Windows enshittification, go ♥♥♥♥ yourself. You need to be fired and kept out of the tech industry as a whole.
