I tried For Honor back in 2018 and bounced off almost immediately. The controls felt awkward, the combat system never clicked, and the game didn’t hold my attention. It always felt like something that should’ve been free‑to‑play from the start, especially since there wasn’t a meaningful story mode to keep me invested. Now Ubisoft has removed Linux/SteamOS support entirely, making the game unplayable on my system. I wasn’t a fan before, but breaking compatibility years later is a terrible move. If you’re on Linux or Steam Deck, this game simply doesn’t work anymore.

terrible game mmr based trash that pits you against high skill players while having a team that can't use a stance widget or have game knowledge to save their life terrible registration issues with core combat systems such as parry block and deflect also no balance at all seeing how i go up against constant hyper armor abusers and full stack meta groups i thought this game had a high skill curve to it but now all i see is just abusive meta manipulation and flawed development gonna uninstall and never play again:steamthumbsdown:

Ubichiasse décide d'empécher les utilisateurs steam OS de jouer... En 2026 donc on bannit les joueurs linux qui sont des clients ayant payés pour un service, cet editeur ce fait un devoir de rester à contre courant & chier systématiquement sur sa communauté, ca devient un art à ce niveau !

If you havent played consitently for the past 10 years its just not worth it, Everyone else has and is going let it be shown with how they play

Ubisoft is making the game incompatible with linux in September, so now a game I spent money on is being stolen from me by a scummy greedy coorporation. Typical ubisoft L, I hope your company goes bankrupt soon.
