No linux support. Why?

This game is one that I have come back to many times over the 10 years it has been out. I bought it on release and while I haven't played 100% dedicated all that time, I always enjoy my time with it and it's a great time going back to it every so often when I do. That being said, adding intrusive anti cheat 11 years after release that actively blocks Linux is a bit wild. And it is really unfortunate that a niche game with a small playerbase is choosing to cut off more people from playing the game. So if you are like me and the millions of people who have switched to linux over the last few years, I do not recommend this game, and I wish that the developers would not actively block a dedicate portion of their community.

Please block the game on windows as the majority of cheaters are using windows, showing that you can't meaningfully employ cheat protection there.

Linux support removed, rendering it unplayable for players who already bought the game years ago and are done with Microslop

Dropping Linux support on the 10th of this month to "get rid of cheaters". Horrible move by a company. I'll be requesting a refund and the negative review will remain until the ban on linux devices is rolled back.
