They cut linux support for the game, citing "Cheating", which is just a really weak excuse for cuttting off a significant portion of the PC userbase. Leaving this negative till linux support is re-added.

All I feel is hatred toward this game and its devs

I used to love playing this game, but then they removed Linux support. When I swapped to Linux, I was happy that I could still play For Honor, so I am incredibly saddened that Ubisoft decided to remove support for frankly poor reasons. I hope they decide to change their decision.

"We are removing For Honor from the Linux platform to ensure a safer environment for our players as we cannot meaningfully deploy protection on this platform. This means that For Honor will no longer be playable on Steam Deck starting September 10th. We will continue to investigate different ways to improve our anti-cheat with the possibility of reopening the platform in the future." If you came expecting competence from them, or actually caring for their playerbase, you're in the wrong place. I bought this when it was on sale to be able to play on Steam instead of Ubislop Launcher. Honestly? I shouldn't have. Stay away from this game. There are plenty of others worth every penny.

I cant play for honor on steam, with a different ubi accout, cuz my STEAM has licenses that arent the same as my other Ubi accont. So, im forced to download the game AGAIN, and use your dog ass launcher... I cant tell it to forget about the license mismatch, and just focus on my ubisoft account.. i cant unpair accounts to solve the problem. it just locks me out. Youre a worse company than EA. id rather pay Ea to make 1000 more sims DLC's, 100 more Apex collections, ILL LET THEM RAVAGE ME!!!! You suck so much. Youre a horrid company. Im sorry, kick the fattest rock. omg For honor sucks.. But, the company is tenfold, so much worse to deal with
