I bought this on Steam, and I can just say this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks now. For context, I've played this game since its release on and off. I know that developers nowadays, for most games, are tone deaf idiots who would rather live in a bubble, as it seems to be the trend nowadays. However, these developers take the cake. Never have I seen developers go on a near decade-long skid of ♥♥♥♥ choices that completely ignore community feedback. From the graph and "data" driven balance changes that gave Highlander an 8% movement speed buff rather than reverting some of the changes, like removing wave dashing and whiff lighting into offensive form. They have managed to ♥♥♥♥ over the uniqueness of every hero of past years that the community fell in love with, with a standardized slop that does nothing but alienate their core community, and replaced it with a supine community that would rather endure endless slop while remaining jaded. The developers are nothing short of uncaring ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because no one who is passionate and actually cares about their work puts ♥♥♥♥ like this out.
They lost 75% of their player base in the first year due to doubling down on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They lost even more during their initial CCU change. And now they intend to change everything all over again and couldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about player "loyalty." These ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deserve zero empathy for not only how they destroyed this game, but how they have consistently disrespected their fans year after year. To anyone reading this, don't waste your time playing this slob because it's an insult to your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ intelligence. These scum ♥♥♥♥♥ have the nerve to "rework" a character that just shoehorns them into abysmal mediocrity only to sell a new hero that goes against their whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ philosophy of standardized ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, yet they double down on everything unapologetically. In other words, ♥♥♥♥ em. You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ have nothing to be excited about moving into year 11 because these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ have every intention to ♥♥♥♥ you over. I'm returning this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game because this slop isn't even worth it on an 85% sale.
