Foam Dart Frenzy

Foam Dart Frenzy is a 2D retro pixel PvP arena/top down shooter that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. It's emulating college students running around campus with Nerf guns. The game is multiplayer only, online only and you must manually enter the IP of a server if you want to play... something of a tall order considering there's no servers that I know of, and no clear way to make your own, leaving this as a dead game. And even if there were servers, this isn't worth touching. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs. Like most GameMaker Studio construction kit "games", this features lazy 2D retro pixel "art", instead of professionally done, contemporary PC graphics. The same lack of budget/talent that lead the "developers" to use the GameMaker Studio construction kit clearly led them to try use pixel "art" as a substitute for proper graphics. Controls and resolution are locked, which pushes this below acceptable standards for PC. While this is free, and that's noble, it's not really playable and not worth it even if it was, so it's not worth the time or effort to download.
