FLOW is a "more-art-than-game" interactive novel with the vague appearance of a 1990's JRPG, but without any of the gameplay, opting for a pretentious psychological horror story. The developers were highly successful in this regard, as I found it psychologically horrifying that anyone would think it's okay to dump garbage this bad onto Steam. But here we are, the nightmares are real. This isn't truly, primarily a game, it's an art exhibition/interactive novel that's been dumped on Steam, presumably because the local art galleries took out a restraining order on the "artists" who had no other choice but to pay Valve $100 to dump this on Steam. Certainly, if this was a written book or graphic novel, no publisher would touch it. Interaction and gameplay are limited, as being a game is not the primary function of this software application. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the fixed resolution sprites/raster images used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game is currently free, but the developers were charging money for it. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration, but this is also in some ways an acknowledgement that the game failed to achieve any commercial success (unsurprising due to the quality issues). It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The quality here is simply too low for me to recommend, even for free, and I certainly feel bad for anyone who paid for this (no refunds were given when the game went "free").

The game lacks a lot of polish but being a free title I think that can be ignored. Have some neat ideas but the pacing is the main problem. Sections are sometime too long for their own good. Interesting overall.
Before I played FLOW, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Way too bare bones to be enjoyable. You are mostly running across totally barren environments. I interacted with the door and randomly got a game over for whatever reason. And since there’s no save system, there’s no way I’m gonna want to do even 10 minutes of running around again.
you are NOT lolrust
没头没尾,莫名其妙,游戏不完整,地图太大跑的很累,完了十分钟就结束了而且这十分钟基本上也就是在单调的地图上走路
