It's a fun little thing for the price. I mean there's not that much to the gameplay, you click tiles and expand, use your slightly overpowered flowerbombs to drastically out-expand the human opponents, and then snowball and win by attrition. There aren't exactly a lot of ways to play. But the music is nice and it's fun to see the green expand all over, even if the humans do hang on a bit long with no direct way to counter their expansion into new tiles other than planting brambles in all directions.
I like the genre that is a mix of 4x and board game I like the aesthetic of man vs nature where you play as the nature *but* there is only one game mode that is trivially easy. like 70% of the game is just choking out the last 5% of the enemy foothold, as there's not really that much you can do to speed things along, even with infinity resources the voice prompts are a little overbearing. honestly this feels like a pretty good student project (which maybe it is?). I think with some campaign maps with interesting variable setups, and a few more ways to tactically use the resources this could be a lot of fun, but I can't reccomend it in its current state

The first map worked well so far. but then... the next maps didn't work at all - no growth, no water. the humans took over almost the whole island until i quit the game and restarted it. then it worked again until the map was finished. every other map nothing worked again... a bug or what else? pro - something new, in the sense of "match 3" games contra - too many comments from nature guardian! - intrusive tool tips that you can't turn off. (clicking away doesn't help because they'll be back the next moment!...) - a mobile game while a bus trip... uninstalled and removed it from my account.
so the mechanics are fun but imbalanced and the nature vs humans is a cool concept. i do not recommend this game though. it took me very little time to complete and has no replay value. there is no real tutorial which is fine. but the controls are a little confusing when it comes to movement and the bug inbetween each turn was sort of jarring. i wish there was depth to this game. this feels like a demo level to a much larger game.
I like the style, the concept, however the voice over isn't great (altough I don't hold it against them, it's a free game). Gameplay-wise, there's not much. I managed to get a victory in one try; it wasn't difficult, becomes quite boring (not enough card variety, always doing the same thing). The flower bombs are way too powerful; we get too much ressources; and the humans pose no threat as we can eradicate them quite fast with those bombs and they don't repost. Still I see potential and hope the dev pushes their project farther.
