Let my friend drive the ambulance. The patient did not die, but was instead removed from reality entirely. She is no longer allowed to drive the ambulance. 10/10
just get GTA V
Purchased this game years ago and the game feels to be in the exact same state. Sure technically theyve added "content" but the core mechanics of the game are clunky at best and usually just bad. NOT worth your time or money. Maybe one day someone will make a competent police sim but it aint here.
*Flashing Lights* is one of those rare games that leans fully into a niche—and absolutely nails the experience it’s aiming for. At its core, it’s an emergency services simulator that lets you step into the roles of police, firefighters, and paramedics. That might sound straightforward, but what makes it stand out is how immersive and flexible it feels. You’re not just ticking off missions—you’re responding to a living, dynamic world where accidents, crimes, and emergencies unfold in real time. The police gameplay is especially engaging. You can conduct traffic stops, chase suspects, set up roadblocks, and even manage more routine duties like issuing tickets. It strikes a nice balance between realism and accessibility—you feel like you’re doing real police work without getting buried in overly complicated systems. Firefighting, on the other hand, is chaotic in the best way. Putting out building fires, rescuing civilians, and managing spreading flames creates a sense of urgency that keeps you on edge. The physics of fire and the need to act quickly make every situation feel unpredictable. The paramedic role adds another layer, slowing things down in a thoughtful way. Treating injuries, stabilizing patients, and transporting them safely gives the game a different pace that rounds out the overall experience nicely. One of the game’s biggest strengths is its open-world structure. You can switch roles on the fly, respond to events as they happen, and even play cooperatively with others. Multiplayer is where *Flashing Lights* really shines—coordinating with friends as different emergency services creates moments that feel surprisingly authentic and often chaotic in a fun, memorable way. That said, it’s not perfect. The game can feel a bit rough around the edges, with occasional bugs and somewhat basic AI. The visuals are decent but not groundbreaking, and some mechanics could use more depth. But none of these flaws overshadow the core experience. What *Flashing Lights* does best is capture the feeling of being part of an emergency response system. It’s immersive without being overwhelming, detailed without being tedious, and most importantly—fun. If you’ve ever been curious about what it’s like to be on the front lines as a first responder, this game is an easy recommendation.
