I never played the original, so I have no nostalgia and am assessing this Tabula Rasa. [b] The game: [/b] It plays like an old Flash game you'd find on the 2010 internet. Not a bad game in itself, but from what I can tell devs basically copy / pasted their older version of the game and just added better graphics (evident from the ability to enable said older-game-style when you start up a new playthrough). To ask $15 for an old flash game is too much. There were games that had more content on Newgrounds. The game itself starts with 4 different 'areas', with 10 puzzles each. There might be more than this, idk. I haven't beaten all of them so I cannot say if more are unlocked. But I suspect not based on the discussion board. [b] The Adult Content: [/b] The main selling point of the game is the adult content. This is incredibly lacking. There are, as far as I can tell, only 5 animated scenes. The "lewd cards" you can get through 'souls' are lackluster at best and barely NSFW. I suppose it is not false advertising as the cards are indeed lewd, but I was hoping for more. Unlocking the few animated scenes is also super grindy. It took me almost 1.5 hours just to get enough souls to unlock the first one. Annoyingly, you need to transverse the puzzles to find a doorway to unlock said animated scenes too. So the devs make this annoying for sure. You can tell the adult content was an afterthought. Looking at the achievements for the game. There is a reason only 0.7% of players have unlocked all the animated scenes and NSFW cards... lol (way too grindy). [b] Final Verdict: [/b] I cannot in good faith recommend this game. It attempts to capitalize on the adult game industry when it is barely providing any adult content. The game is by no means worth $15. If I had to value it, I'd put it as $4 max. Even then, that's only because the game play isn't awful. The adult content is worth maybe $2. Pay for a Crunchy Roll sub for $8 a month. You will get more sexy content on there in one month than than you will from the $15 spent on this game.

I never played the original, but the game is a fairly enjoyable puzzle game with a good amount of content to see.

I just got done streaming this game and I gotta say that I really like this game a lot! The game is simple but it's a really good simple! This is a very fun puzzle game where I feel like when I do solve the puzzle and tasks... I felt smart when I figured out WHAT to do too! It's a fun short game with a lot of care put into the game from the amount of content, 3 hours in and I'm only HALF of the content. Lots of care with the art and the remastered QoL changes from the original. Plus the developers are more than happy to work on more with the game and so much more too and they're very very nice and friendly too! I really do recommend this! My viewers enjoyed watching it too!

Not worth 15 dollars.
