its alright. but this game definitely takes "you get what you pay for" literally. its fun to play just out of boredom or whatever. wouldnt recommend for serious gameplay, but i dont think this was meant for that anyway.

It has no value or merit as a real game. "Five nights at Stalin" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Five Nights at Freddy's (Copyright Scottgames, LLC, 2014). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. At this stage no legal action has been taken by Scottgames, LLC against the "developer" here, but it's never off the table, as previous copyright law cases have shown. Putting aside the unethical intellectual bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept for profit, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "Five nights at Stalin" is considerably worse than Five Nights at Freddy's. So we have a bunch of stolen and plagiarised game assets and an entire, stolen game concept, on Steam Direct, for profit. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The mismatched game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, it's a wonder why they couldn't be bothered "borrowing" higher quality assets for this asset flip. This is a lot like going on a shoplifting spree but only stealing the cut price store brand goods. Regardless, the poor quality assets alone should be enough to deter gamers from bothering with this. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Those technical issues put this game beneath what is expected from a contemporary, professionally developed PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was [b]only 8 players[/b]. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you buy this asset flip? Is this better than any of the 140,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not! "Five nights at Stalin" is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. The quality problems and defects with this game makes the asking price totally unrealistic. It is impossible to recommend this to gamers here on Steam, especially considering the unethical stuff going on. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk. [b]Note:[/b] Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, and if you removed the fake/joke reviews the game would have a markedly different review score, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded. Finally, I'm here to try help save gamers time and money by filtering out the noise and substandard games... there's up to 50 games launched on Steam Direct every day! They aren't all great... most of them suck. If you don't agree with my assessment of the defects in this game, go ahead and buy it... maybe you'll find the same defects I did, maybe not. Looks very good, but i cant play it because it has no english....give it english and i will play. Still iam giving for the humor a like.
