About

Reform the church to divorce and marry as you please. Marry foreign princesses, or, heck, your favourite bookshelf. Or both. Jail your steward. Execute everyone. Ordain your horse as a priest. Knight your bed. Who’s going to stop you? God? Nope. Not after you become the Pope.
This is no game of thrones. This is real life, as Henry VIII would have lived it, if only he had the imagination.
England, 1520. As the king or queen of this nation, you've been challenged to out-spend your rival, King Frank, at the Field of the Cloth of Gold. With the help of your staff and sycophants, you might be able to do it. Except you've misplaced your gold all over the castle... time to find all those chests and collect all those taxes!
Maybe you'll bankrupt the country, but at least you'll have a good time doing it.

26 royal commands, including (M)arry, e(X)ecute, (C)ollect taxes, (B)less, (K)night, (P)lay Lute and (R)eform Church.
Play as King or Queen and rewrite the laws to suit your whim.
Non-linear adventure sandbox simulation. Rule your kingdom or wreak havoc in it, as you prefer.
Meet Machiavelli, Suleiman the Magnificent, and more, in incredible historical realism.
Original music tracks by Visager Music, as well as an adaptation of Henry VIII's masterwork, Pastime in Good Company.
A bear. Beware.

I have no Idea what Im doing, which could be said about alot of kings and queens in history because they sure had no clue how to rule a kingdom!
Absolute gem
Very cool game that I enjoyed a lot! I'm very fond of the ms-dos era, so this was a neat treat to play.
Solid puzzle-ish adventure game, although I couldn't recommend it at full price due to the short length of it. Still enjoyed what was there.
Cool.
A funny game.
This is such an amiable package of charismatic exploration that you can't help but smile the whole way through. Granted, there's such an abundance of secrets and undisclosed objectives that it's hard for the average player to discover it all, but it's presented in a respectable way that one feels satisfied no matter the percentage of completion. Wonderful game
Extremely short and extremely retro -- I'm talking borderline experimental C64 and Amiga games. Once the novelty of executing/marrying anyone and everyone wears off, you basically have a pretty typical adventure game with a surrealist bent to it. There honestly just needs to be more to it: either combat or an inventory system or a branching story or whatever.
Barely recommended for fans of retro comedy games. The graphics are very old school (think C64) with a lot of exploration. It does have a lot of layers that add to the strange factor while searching the world for gold and people/things to interact with. It doesn't really have much of a point though and is short for the price.
