Shintoist with surprising amount of mechanical depth, wishing the dev luck in the development of the game and am excited to play the full release.

I grabbed FISH with the last 10 bucks in my Steam wallet as an impulse buy,and i didnt expect it to be such a banger. The Outdated stock-photo aesthetic,the weird humor aswell as the chaotic run-n-gun pacing make it a memorable game, even if it is in early access. the weapons do not feel like upgrades to the previous weapon: they feel like additions to your arsenal. every weapon has its own mechanic and doesnt act as a one-up to the previous weapon. Yes,you can only equip two weapons at a time and cycle through them,but that leaves room to experiment: " What weapon combo is the best to deal with this boss? ", " What weapon combo is the best for this level? ", stuff like that. FISH is not only a fun game based off of gameplay: It's humor and vibe is lovely. I love that the bosses always feel different,and the outdated stock image aesthetic adds a certain tang to it. Remember,its Early access,meaning it has occasional rough edges aswell as it being extremely short for now ( only 4 levels so far ),but more will come and this game is subject to change,and im excited to see what they do with this gem. If you like weird indie shooters with an abstract artstyle, try FISH. For an impulse buy,it was genuinely fun.
