I played the game for just a few hours, and I really enjoyed it! First of all, I want to note that the game is very unusual. It reminds me of "Paper's Please" in the sense that both games have very unique features. The purpose of the game is to analyze strange radio signals from outer space and look for hidden messages. The messages are different from one another and consist of sounds, images, or numbers. There could be more types of data hidden in the signals, the types I've pointed out are the ones I've learned about from the messages I was able to decode so far. There are different types of aliens, each has a different attitude toward you. The communication panel is one of my favorite parts of the game so far - You are presented with images found in the hidden signals, and you need to translate the images to communicate with the aliens successfully. If you choose the wrong words, your fellow scientists can't figure out what the aliens are trying to say. The logic behind the images is brilliant. It looks like the developer did an excellent job there. One more thing I want to add - the beginning is a bit difficult to understand because there is a lot of science stuff you need to learn about. However, the tutorials are really helpful. Some of the NPCs in the game are scientists that help you get familiar with radio astronomy and other cool concepts. The game teaches you about radio frequencies and coordinate systems in space, and it really adds to the authenticity of the story. To conclude, it's a fun puzzle/adventure game. If you are a radio geek, then this game is a must for you.
I got a steam key for this game and I figured what the heck, let's give it a try. I discovered a gold mine! Well, not at first, you need to go through tedious tutorials that teaches you all sorts of science stuff, but once you get the hang of it, the radio analysis is so cool! You discover alien images and need to translate them to make contact. The images are so funny and the aliens are crazy imo. The human characters are also funny especially the Italian radio man. This is a hidden gem! Totally recommend it. Great retro music!
It's a fun game where you play as a scientist and search for patterns in radio waves. When you decipher the patterns you learn how to send messages back to the aliens. I really liked the language images the aliens use for communicating. u need to decide which word is correct for every image. So far, the story is amazing! very unique and fun, u get to meet intresting aliens :) I learned a lot about radio siganl and astronomy, Some of the puzzles are very hard. Recommended 9/10
Nice adventure built around deciphering radio signals. Story is terribly naive, yet still manages to deliver enough exciting moments.
Go on a nostalgia ride with this one, back to the days of LucasArts' adventure games. While the radio stuff might not be everyone's cup of tea, the game delivers really interesting information on astrophysics and space exploration with some good old fashioned sci-fi. All in all a great indie game!
A small game about analyzing the signals and communicating with aliens. Both of these parts are quite interesting and fun.
I was looking for some game about radio analysis and stumbled upon this one. To my surprise along with nice gamification of radio job I got strong vibes of Star Trek and Stargate series. For its price it's definitely a hidden gem!
An amazing game! Such unusual mechanics, it makes this game seem as Undertale!
I feel Like I learned a ton of stuff playing this game.
I enjoy the game! very cool story If you live radio you will love this game :)
