[H1]More enemies than cats. That’s a problem[/H1]

This is nonetheless an impartial review of the game.
This cute little angel cat greets you, halos floating, promise of cozy vibes in the air…and then everything immediately goes sideways. After only about 15 minutes, it was already clear this was not a gentle hidden cat stroll, but a full-on frustration marathon. Which hurts to say, because I usually love Happy Fish's 2D hidden cat games. They’re clever and often use genuinely fun ways to remix the genre. This, however, is their first 3D attempt, and it feels like the genre tripped, fell down the stairs, and kept rolling.
First issue: the game boots up in Chinese, with absolutely no option to change the language from the main menu. You have to pause mid-game to fix it. Not a great welcome mat. From there, the trailer’s soft, relaxing energy turns out to be a lie wrapped in pastel clouds. Movement is clunky, jumps are extremely limited like an old-school platformer that forgot it’s 2025, and getting stuck in textures is a frequent pastime. Enemies are everywhere, attacking every few seconds, turning what should be a cozy search into a stress endurance test. Hearts barely heal you, combat is painfully slow and unresponsive, and throwing halos to fight back feels more like arguing with the controls than damaging foes. Somehow, this ends up feeling harder than a Dark Souls boss, which is not something I ever want to say about a cat game.
Saving is another trap. You can only save at specific points, and if you think you're saving via the little disk in the pause menu, congratulations, you’ve just loaded your previous save and erased your progress. Add to that frequent crashes, especially on startup, no settings at all before launching the game, and performance that feels sluggish throughout. Then there’s the water. You’re forced to backtrack through watery areas, but touching water launches you into the air and locks you there like some kind of invisible punishment box until you reach land again. It’s baffling, and not in a fun way.
The worst part is that I want to like this. The cat itself is undeniably adorable, and I genuinely love this dev’s other work. I’m even excited to see what [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/4249160/Find_Cats_6/?curator_clanid=44855822]Find Cats 6[/url] does with its cute pixel art. But this entry just doesn’t work. Without combat, with smoother navigation, fewer crashes, and actual relaxation, it could’ve been something sweet. As it stands, it’s stressful, unstable, and deeply frustrating. Even if it was free for everyone and with all the goodwill in the world, I sadly can’t recommend getting anywhere near this one.
