________________________________________________________________________________ In the winter of 1996, I hooked up with some random dude who invited me to go drink at his dacha. I went. It was boring, and he turned out to be an idiot too. We drove out in his car late in the afternoon, planning to spend the night at the dacha. But the party with girls didn't happen—the dude totally stood me up. He spun some story that the girls had left on the last bus, and the people having fun in the house were relatives who would be very unhappy if I stayed overnight, and he had no gas to drive me back. It was an unfamiliar dacha settlement—I had no one to stay with. I decided to walk home. It was 12 km just to the nearest city street, and then another 7 km or so to my house. As I was walking, a heavy blizzard started. In my orphan's jacket (literally an orphan's, without quotes. It was issued to me by the vocational school, as an orphan) I wasn't warm at all. I felt myself freezing. That road was only used by summer residents in the summer; on a winter night, there was no one. Hunched over to preserve the last bit of warmth, I trudged down the road. Near where the red circle is on the map, a strange guy caught up with me. I didn't see his face—it was dark. There was a summer pioneer camp nearby that was closed for the winter, so theoretically he could have come from there, but still, meeting a fellow traveler on a winter night road was very strange. My only thought was to get home, so I dismissed him and just kept plodding along the country road. After a couple of kilometers, I was almost exhausted. A strong headwind knocked the breath out of me, and the frost kept getting sharper. The snow cut into my eyes. I think I was losing consciousness while walking because I'd periodically black out. It felt like my body was attached to walking legs, but they weren't my legs, and I had no control over them—they just moved on their own. And then the guy behind me started trying to persuade me to rest! He said things like: "Look, a good log. Sit down, we'll rest and then go on!" And a few steps later: "Look, a tire lying there. Sit down, rest, you're tired!" He was very insistent—tugging at my sleeve, whispering almost in my ear—"Rest!" This scared me like nothing ever had in my life. I wasn't this scared even when I was in fights where knifings were common! I'd seen people frozen to death before—they all sat as if they'd just sat down for a moment and would get up soon. I saw a homeless man who froze to death near the Pioneers' Palace—the cops propped him up in a corner of the locker room to thaw out the frozen flesh. Freezing to death was my biggest fear. I knew that if I sat down, I would never get up again. But the guy wouldn't let up: "Let's go into the woods over there—there's a warm winter hut!" I was practically hysterical and yelled at him: "Are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid?! How could there be a winter hut here?!" "Just come over there, I'll show you. It's warm!" I refused to give in. The road passed by a chemical plant, and suddenly this guy disappeared. One moment he was whining about resting, and the next—gone. He wasn't on the road. Sure, he could have climbed over the concrete factory fence or run into the snow-covered field, but why would he? I was so frozen that the only warm part of me was my thighs. The joints in my legs were moving, and the friction of the bones provided at least a little warmth to my body. Not thinking straight, I walked right past the checkpoint of the chemical plant, where they could have warmed me up. Deep in the night, I finally reached home. Many years later, I had to walk in the frost again. I was looking for a new job and didn't have money for the minibus—I was walking across the city. About halfway, I decided to go into a store to warm up. And since I didn't want to just stand there annoying the cashiers, I

At first it seems, like it's nothing complicated. You control a dot and avoid obstacles on your way, sometimes collecting additional points, but the escalating difficulty kept me hooked. A must play for any masochists
Super simple but such a fun and addicting game to play! I really love the visual style and it's super easy to pull up for a few minutes or play in queue for another game! Def recommend and for free makes it a easy choice to download.
Final Rounds feels like your reflexes owe you money. It’s neon chaos, instant regret, and pure joy - delivered by a game that’s equal parts savage and addictive. ⚡🔥
