enjoying it a lot so far. Combat reminds me a bit of FFXV but tougher and with differences I like here (playing the Normal difficulty, not classic). Boss fights are great. Tifa is super fun to play BTW spoilers: Love the [spoiler] Hell House encounter. I was wondering where it would show up :P. Also I approve of the reimagining of the Wall Market chapter. It is nice to be able to be immersed in the dystopia without having to get bogged down by the chain from the original game. [/spoiler]

I hated FF7. I loved FF7 Remake. Game took a story I thought was mid as a kid and fleshed it out into something I really enjoy. Can't wait to play part 2.

This game does not respect your time. The plot has no stakes because everything goes and any random bs can happen at any time. Moving about or 'exploring' is just busy work where you wait for you character to finish an unnecessarily slow action or some random bs staggers you and you have to just wait it out again to do more meaningless stuff. Pure nostalgy bait. Absolutely horrible as a game and not worth your time.

It's an interesting remake of FF7, adds a bit of character details and provides a character reason for Cloud to stick with Avalanche.
