FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE

I played this game on Switch 2, but it still doesn't change how I feel about it. I didn't grow up with Final Fantasy VII, I was born during the PS2 Generation, and my bread and butter was licensed platformer games, and the RPGs I did play were limited to Golden Sun and the like. I actually had more experience with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance over many of the mainline games for many years. It wasn't until 2021 when I finally bought Intergrade, and planned to fully play it, and I got a decent bit far on PS5, but time commitments got in the way, and I eventually dropped it. Fast forward to this year, and Revelation is announced, I finally decide to fully play through the game, and wow. What an amazing experience. While there are some problems I have, like some side quests being kind of boring, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a game that never lets up, even in it's quieter moments where you're just walking around town, or picking flowers, or dancing with Andrea Rhodea in the Honeybee Inn, to fighting on the strut of Sector 7, Final Fantasy 7 Remake always finds a way to keep you engaged. Every character I met, I was hooked by, I love how much of a dorky badass Cloud is, Barret is one of my new favorite characters ever, Aerith mixes sweet and sassy in a perfect way, and Tifa provides emotional understanding with a vice grip that could crush your ballsack. This has become one of my new favorite games, and I cannot wait for Revelation.
