FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

Story is good, but the gameplay is horrible. It is just constant mini-games after mini-games. The mini-games also don't feel like they fit into the story at all, they are just arcade games or theme park attractions used as filler. Also, while you can skip vast majority of the mini-games, there are still plenty of required mini-games left. So much so that I dropped the game before finishing it.

100% padding. This entire game is a few pointless minigames and a couple of super tiny "open world" maps. I spent about 7 hours running around the second city trying to figure out which of the 200 identical characters you need to talk to before playing a rhythm game to finally leave. I found 4 out of 10 before deciding i'd rather be playing something fun and quitting. It's interesting to see the FF7 characters rendered in modern graphics, but the nostalgia runs out fast.

The visuals and music are great but the game goes out of its way to slow you down with tedious repetitive activities or minigames. The padding feels like they were trying to hit a minimum playtime requirement to justify doing 3 parts. Would love for there to be one master copy with the OG's pacing but Remake series visuals + story.

Una adaptación brillante de la obra original con una banda sonora que sin duda es una de sus mayores puntos fuertes, junto con la jugabilidad que tambien me ha resultado muy entretenida y dinamica.

Game is unplayable and should not be sold in the current state. It randomly crashes the whole operating system after couple of minutes of playing.

合間のクエストやらミニゲームやら探索やらがゲームのテンポを最悪にしてきていい所もつまんなくさせてくる。 あと一番嫌だったところは好きなキャラだけ使いたいのにパーティ強制多すぎて辛い。 パーティ強制多いのに、自動で〇〇してくれるみたいな便利なマテリアはちょっとしか手に入らないから付け替えマジでめんどくさい。 そんなフラストレーションが溜まりに溜まってムービーにすら開発の押し付けを感じて、このゲームもういいやって思えた初めてのゲーム。 レビューしてから我慢して少し進めたけど、マジでひどいこのゲーム。 FFだからムービー多めなのは覚悟してたけど、長いムービー見て、戦闘無い広い街で長い探索させられて、もっさりしてるミニゲーム強制させられて、戦闘まじでちょっとしかない。フィールドにも敵ちょっとしかいない。 探索要素も戦闘イベントあんまり無いけど、イベント進行的に敵配置されてたら邪魔だなーって所にはしっかり配置されてる。 もうミニゲームが戦闘みたいになってる。 今8章なんですけどゴールドソーサー強制で散歩させられて、目的地着いたらすいません準備中でーす！みたいなこと言われて、他の場所を回ろうってシステムに言われた。 そんなこれいる？？？？？？？みたいなことばっかり。 開発が頑張って作ったものをプレイヤーに押し付けたいだけ。 割と何でもゲーム面白いタイプだけどこのゲームだけにはマジでムカついてる。

I really wanted to like this game, but it's so slow and corny. The minigames get in the way of what would have been an excellent sequel to FF VII Remake. As someone who generally dislikes card games, why am I being forced to play in the Queen's Blood tournament in Chapter 5? FF VII Rebirth introduces some interesting characters, like Yuffie, but as soon as the game starts to pick up, you're thrown into Costa Del Sol where the main focus is finding a hotel room, riding a segway scooter around for points, and playing dress up with Cloud and Tifa. Every time I think we're getting ready to battle some baddies, there is yet another cutscene or pointless task standing in the way. Why are they trying so hard to pull the player away from the core gameplay loop? The gameplay is what worked so well in FF VII Remake, and optional content mostly remained optional.

The combat is fantastic, but everything else gameplay-wise is the most bloated open world garbage that I dropped it like a third of the way in. I had fun in parts, but SO MUCH of this game is an explicit attempt to waste the player’s time. Awful. Just watch the Chip & Ironicus lets play, lol
