Fantasy Mosaics 14: Fourth Color

It's a little repetitive but the low price is a good point for this game.

[b]This was a gift from a friend. This was also at the top of my wishlist.[/b] I'm still early in the game, and how this game was made is creative and unique. First time seeing a picross game that has layers to one puzzle. First time hearing about this series as well. The puzzles are fun, challenging, and creative. My only issue is the "story", for lack of a better term. Granted it's there just to be there, but the 3D animation seems rather dated, or poor quality. Regardless, all of that is a minority and not a focus. It would be nice to skip the intro when going to the first puzzle, but not sure if the dev can make that change as I don't know how old this game is exactly. The soundtrack is very soothing and calming, reminds me of various Myst tracks. If you like Picross, you'll enjoy this fun challenging game. If you're not sure if Picross is for you, there's a few flash games out there you can try, OR try out the demo of Paint it Back (data carries over to the full version, by the way, but won't get any achievements in the demo version), which I also recommened. Plenty of hours to solve each puzzle, and it may take a few weeks (in hours) to solve them all without making errors, based on the rate I'm going. Dieses Spiel lässt sich am besten mit der Spielreihe von World Mosaic vergleichen. Nach 8 Stunden (gefühlten 3 Stunden) waren die 100 vorhandenen Level durch. Wer hier eine Herausforderung sucht, wird diese leider nicht finden. Die Level sind sehr leicht und Fehler passieren nur selten. In 100 Leveln musste ich nur eins erneut spielen aufgrund von Faselfehlern. Im Nachhinein ist es mir die 9,99 € definitiv nicht wert. Es ist nett anzusehen und sollte man sich nur im Sale zulegen. Hier wäre noch genug Luft nach oben gewesen. Errungenschaften gibt es nicht. Nach dem 100. Level landet man im Hauptmenü und das wars. Gebe 5/10 Punkten.

Decent game, did all the puzzles. Kind of lame hint system is a poor excuse for a couple of cases requiring guesses, but for the most part it's what you'd expect. The pictures are kind of cheesy, like images vaguely referencing Alice in Wonderland such as "talking cat" and "tea ceremony", or Beauty and the Beast as "magic flower". Whatever.

Controls aren't the best and some puzzles have multiple solutions so if you are going to mo mistakes and no powerups, you have to replay the puzzle if your guess was incorrect. Good game but could use improvements. Doesn't have achievements which is disappointing.

I love these games and need more of them! It was difficult at first to figure out what I was doing after playing "Paint it Back" (which I also loved!), but once I grew accustomed to how it worked I was immediately addicted and looking for more! They are not the most difficult puzzles, but i am very happy with them. If you need super challenging, annoying puzzles to occupy you, then this is not for you. :) Would love to see more of this series on Steam immediately!! :)
