What if we took all the rpg mechanics out of a series originally titled "A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game"? Brilliant! Aside from general gunplay, there is very little to praise about this game. The writing is far inferior to 3 and New Vegas, Nate is a boring protagonist, the factions aren't that interesting, and I just cannot recommend this game over any other fallout games or even most Bethesda games. I didn't grow up with this game like a lot of people did, so maybe I'm being harsh, but I can't lie and pretend I like this game.
biblical levels of greed for a company to make you pay for mods that break your game after "bug-fixing" updates, give the money back big beth
I absolutely love this game, despite it's flaws. I know a lot of people tend to dunk on this game, and it's story. Personally, I enjoy the story, even if the writing itself is a little lackluster. I've never had issues with quests breaking, or NPCs tweaking out unless I'm using mods. I enjoy the settlement building, even if it's dogwater compared to other videogames I've played. The combat is smooth and fluid, and I find something new to try every playthrough. The Companion Affinity system is really cool, and adds new layers to the roleplay. My major gripe is how limited the weapon sandbox is compared to other games, but the weapon customization system helps to close that gap a little. I think it's a good way to introduce someone who dosn't like RPGs to the series, but I understand why some people prefer New Vegas. 7/10.
lo unico bueno son los mods
have 500+ hours on xbox and idk how much on ps4. Had to replay it when I remembered I had it on steam.
ta weno me gusta mucho
Not my favorite Fallout game, heck, not even the best Fallout game, but it’s still worth your time especially if you’re willing to cater the experience to your own tastes with mods, paid or otherwise. I’m not a huge fan of the story, at least when compared to Fallout 3 or New Vegas, but I still find most of my enjoyment in building settlements and adding as many lore friendly mods as I can. Lately, though, with all the Creation Club updates, it feels like I’m plugging leaks in a sinking ship. I’ll find one game-breaking bug, and an hour later, another one rears its ugly head. Bethesda is well past its glory days, but somehow we’re still left with this polished turd, and Lord willing, I’ll eventually hit that 1,000-hour mark for better or worse. Buyer beware.
amazing game

Every update breaks mods completely, go to open f4se loader and it completely locks up and freezes, had to force close literally everything on my pc just to close fallout 4.
