Рідко коли пишу рецензії на ігри, які не пройшов до кінця, але мені не дали допройти фолаут 4, тому я тут. Гру безбожно зламали і тепер відмовляються лагодити. Перепробував багато чого і здався - бесезда занепокоєна виключно аби мікротранзакції капали, на решту байдуже. Не рекомендую купувати найближчі кілька років, поки спільнота не роздуплиться і вкотре не полагодить гру (читай, зробить всю роботу за цілий штат хіпстерів-розобників, які, вочевидь, окрім пихтіння нічим корисним у своїх офісах не займаються). Чт задавалися ви питанням, чому більшість нарізок/едітів/приколів припадає саме на початок/середину гри? Ні, справа не в спойлерах. Просто решта гри - гівно. І все. Розробники створили величезну мапу і ліниво напихали її конентом, де тебе закидують халтурними квестами і одноклітинними ворогами. Краса фолауту була у відчутті самотності, коли ти, досліджуючи руїни старого світу, НЕ натикаючись кожні бісові пітори хвилини на ворогів міг порефлексувати над своїми діями, обдумати сюжет, покайфувати з природи. Усього настільки багато, що гра ламається під своєю ж вагою. Для чого було вводити БС у сюжет з величезними дирижаблем, коли Ню Вегас довів, що фолаут може бути класним і без силової броні? Який сенс у форматі РПГ фолауту, коли характеристики SPECIAL можна прокачувати кожний новий рівень через перки? Чому я не можу вирішити питання з рейдерами мирно, заплативши їм? Чи бодай друзякам Боброва на заводі, це все що вони вимагали? Де свобода вибору з попередніх частин? Чому кігті смерті саме в цій частині стали поводити себе, неначе розумово відсталі? Стільки питань, а відповідь єдина - жадібність розробників і відверта халтура. Вчергове впевнююсь в тому, що нині основа цільова аудиторія ігор - це діти, які не можуть правильно проаналізувати сюжет самостійно і у яких є час і запал на грінд (або мамина банківська картка). Ідея класна, але реалізація паршива. Краще б ти залишився президентом клубу шахів, Тодику. 6 заромансених Пайперів з 12.

The free next-gen update sweetened it with 60fps support and extra content, so there's never been a smoother time to go irradiate yourself. Here's where the ghoulish honesty comes in: the RPG half took a beating, and deservedly so. Bethesda gutted the dialogue system down to a four-option wheel that often boils down to "yes," "sarcastic yes," and "yes later." The writing and main story are the weakest in the modern series, and the forced voiced protagonist boxes in the role-playing that older Fallouts did better. If you came for deep choice-and-consequence storytelling, this is the entry that traded RPG soul for shooter polish — and the trade will grate on you. But the ghoulish truth is that Fallout 4 wins on feel, not narrative. It's a wasteland playground, not a novel — and taken on those terms, it's phenomenal. And with mod support, the game becomes damn near infinite; the community has kept this corpse twitching with life for years. If you want a rich branching story, temper the expectation. If you want to lose yourself in a gorgeous, dangerous ruin for a hundred hours, gear up and step out of the Vault. The Commonwealth's waiting to kill you.
