It's incredible, magical in a way that you all showed the wisdom and maturity to bound together, realize this would not be working out because of everyone's expectations, and still settle on a shorter version to be released free of charge. I'm glad I got to play it !
The game has a pleasant visual style, feels good to play, and has some interesting skills. However, it still feels a bit raw. The mobs are made okay overall, but as you progress, the gameplay starts to feel dull and lacks variety. It could really use more weapons or a wider range of skills. Also, if there are bosses (maybe I didn’t reach them), it would be great to have something like a boss or a special event every 4th or 9th area—that would add a lot. Procedurally generated levels could also help. Right now it feels like the developer just made a scripted map that you walk through, with no real sense of unpredictability or surprise. I hope the game evolves into something much more engaging, and I wish the developer success—but for now, I’m leaving a negative review.
