Fairway Solitaire - Card Game

Not Fun Anymore No fun anymore. It takes too much money to play, the ads are miserably long and it is difficult to win. Cards very seldom go my way. I am deleting today. Too bad, too, cause it used to be one of my favorites

Greedy Dev Gets Greedier I have been playing this game for years and it has always been a nice daily go to for a quick game fix with coffee, or to pass the time on a flight. Recently though the game has become much more ad heavy (no option to pay to remove ads) AND the gameplay has become much more tight on rewards. It is an open ended game (no story to complete), so why be so strict on letting people get better scores more consistently? I have been rage quitting the game almost everyday lately over restrictive card distribution on the third or fourth hole of Club rounds. The whole while I’m having ads shoved down my throat. Ugh. Lighten up, devs. Why not let your users have some fun?

Ads Are Out Of Control I have no issues with ads to play games for free and to get additional items for gameplay. But now most are 60 seconds or longer and force you to constantly hit next because they are in 15 second increments. I’ll just find a different one.

Ads are ruining the fun Have played this game for almost 20 years, and the recent pop up ads are frustrating and ruining the fun of the game. I’m almost ready to quit - too much of a waste of time to sit through meaningless ads - especially when they are the SAME ads that I have seen 15 or 20 times!

Pay to win & weird commentary I’m pretty far into the game and I’ve just decided to switch to a different one. There are deals that cannot be won without making a purchase, which is what they’re counting on. If you want to reap the benefits of a streak and you’re on a deal that’s unable to be won, many would go ahead and spend the money on extra cards, etc. There’s also a weird comment made by one of the “hosts” that loops through about men and women which just seems oddly out of place for a golf themed game.

Extra Game Prizes Are Terrible I love this game and have been playing it for a long time. The extra games for prizes, like pearl pursuit, treasure chests, etc. are not what they used to be. The prizes were well worth playing them. You won golf bucks and clubs. Now you get challenge cups, extra cards, and previews. These are useless in my opinion. It’s just not worth playing them anymore. I just loose my golf bucks and golden clubs. I feel like it’s a ploy to make you spend real money to get fake money. You can bet I will stop playing this game and stop spending my real money to buy fake money.

No longer opens. Great while it lasted. This was a great game when it ran, and I okayed it for many years. It no longer runs on my iPad Pro M4, unfortunately (the launch screen hangs forever).

Ads Been playing for years. Now ads after every course and no option to purchase an ad-free version. There are plenty of games out there to play. Why would you risk loosing future revenue for these ads? It’s all about time management. I would rather purchase an ad-free version than wait for an ad to finish.

Trackers and ads galore. This app has so many trackers, ad servers, analytics, etc. it will not even load after being blocked by privacy apps. The game has been neglected to extract as much money from players as possible. Odds are over-stacked in favor of the app.

Not a worthwhile purchase Paid for the game believing that I was buying a lifetime access without ads. Learned today that I only purchased a single year and must renew the purchase each year. This is absurd. I’m being forced to make a purchase in order to remove ads…. After I’ve already made a purchase to remove ads.
