About
Step into the shadowed halls of the Hellfire Club, where something, or someone, is always lying... Eyes of Hellfire is a richly atmospheric gothic horror cooperative game that plunges you and up to 4 of your friends into a cursed lodge. The game is based on real Irish legends of the secret society known as the Hellfire Club, resulting in a scenario filled with secrets, monsters, and a creeping sense of dread.
Each player harbours a hidden curse, twisting their abilities and motives, as they explore the ever-shifting rooms of the lodge. With a dynamic card-management system that changes turn by turn, you'll need to strategise carefully, share discoveries, and combine your strengths to solve cryptic puzzles, uncover unsettling lore, and survive the escalating threats that roam the manor.
But beware, the Host is always watching. This manipulative entity plays with reality itself, distorting what players perceive, trust, and believe. As paranoia sets in, will your group stay united long enough to escape? Or will the lodge claim you all?
With its blend of narrative-driven exploration, clever puzzles, and escalating tension, Eyes of Hellfire is perfect for fans of cooperative horror games like Arkham Horror, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Mansions of Madness.

By downloading Friend's Pass*, up to 4 friends can play for free when 1 friend owns the game.

You and your friends play as a small group of unfortunate people who have recently discovered that they have each become a victim of a potentially fatal curse. They have hiked through the thick woods of the Dublin mountains and travelled to the ruins of the Hellfire Club in the hopes of discovering what connects them to this place and what, or who, has brought this curse upon them all.

You and your team have a common goal of escaping the haunted lodge while also defeating the Antagonist. But you each also have hidden solo objectives. Which will you prioritize? You must succeed at both to win. Use proximity voice chat to plot together with teammates, as well as question their motives.

Choose from a variety of characters, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Your choice will impact what you see in each play session; you’ll have to decide if it’s real or not.
Build your hand of actions: Each playthrough you start with a hand of cards that equal actions that can be done each turn, limited by your action points. As you explore the lodge, you’ll discover new and better action cards to alter your playthrough.

Game has ceased development, but I would still recommend interested players check it out. Especially at the affordable price and the fact that a Friend Pass for up to 5 players exists. Fans of 'Betrayal at House on the Hill' should especially check it out. The first time I opened this with someone it was to just take a peek at the tutorial and draw comparisons to some of the board games we played-- we ended up spending the next 2 hours exploring and fighting for our lives~
Really disappointed that this game isn't getting further updates :( Leaving this as a yes recommend because it's not the dev's fault that Blumhouse isn't moving forward, and I really enjoyed playing this game with my husband the few times we did. It's spooky, challenging, and had a lot of promise.
Unfortunately the game is abandonware. I was really hopeful for this and am disheartened to see it get shut down before it even got the chance....do not buy this it will never be updated again.
Some great ideas here but unfortunately has some glaring issues which might eventually get fixed but that's looking unlikely as the game might end up abandoned. Most major of these is the combat. Combat is unbalanced. This game has a very strict action economy on the players. This is fine and good in of itself, but when you encounter enemies, especially the more dangerous enemies, it becomes very apparent that they have an unlimited action economy. This makes it very easy to get locked into a death spiral, which screws over your entire team. Simple fix for this is to make enemies have an action economy. This can be invisible to the players of course, but making enemies essentially play by the same rules would go a long way toward prevent them from infinite comboing you and anyone in your vicinity into a frustrated and bored pulp. If that alone is fixed I think that this game could be fantastic. Otherwise it's cheap enough, and can be a fun lark with a group. Buyer beware there are boss fights, be careful when activating certain interactables, especially if there is a foreboding description of something waiting. That's a good sign to prepare for the worst.
Карточный хоррор звучит жидко, как замок из песка, блумхаус топ фильмы, видит Бог, но хорроры должны пугать своим экшеном, чтобы страх не останавливался, на нарастал до своего пика.
If you love Mansions of Madness? You'll love this. We've played the first level so many times now and hadn't been able to win yet - we added a third player for the first time and we finally beat it! Absolutely a replayable game.
It's a fun game it has so much potential
This game HAD so much potential. I bought the Early Access got I wanted to support this and give it all the chance it could, yet its still being abandoned by the publisher. It sounds like stuff went on behind the scenes, so i'm saddened for the developers, programmers and artists that put heart into this game. It was always gonna be a niche game, and a risk, but it was one of the most interesting concepts for a game in recent times, especially horror. I will try to be hopeful that somehow this gets resurrected in the future, than something will take the chance on this game. And I hope the best for the dev teams next venture. I am torn between recommending to still buy it right now, as what is there is rough, but decent for a bit of fun, not polished but had so much promise. I'd say still get it to try and show that there is still interest in it, but at the same time I'm asking you to potentially throw money into a void. Maybe pick it up on sale and have a fun evening with friends
I would recommend this, but they abandoned the project. It had so much potential and I'm sad to leave negative review.
A fun and interesting point-and-click detective/investigation game - especially great when played with a group of friends. With the friend pass, if you have the friend group to play it, this should be an instant purchase! The gameplay is straightforward, but the variations of the characters, and the abilities you can acquire makes everyone feel very different. Work together (or against your friends) to figure out how to escape the mansion. It's a good 4ish hours of gameplay to get all the way through! I definitely recommend using the in-game voice chat, it makes the game much more immersive.
