A short and sweet detective/puzzle game with awesome retro graphics and challenging but rewarding gameplay. The story is intriguing and the search engine mechanic allows you to fill in a lot of extra details for yourself and makes you feel like a real amateur sleuth. I quite honestly would have played this even if it wasn't free
Eye 4 Eye has a complex word search database in a beautiful color pallet and art style does a lot creatively for a free student made game, but still leaves a lot to be desired. 4/10
If you're looking for a short detective game, I suggest you to try Eye 4 Eye. It's a game where you play as detective Hazel to solve a missing daughter case. You're provided with a search engine to help you find clues & discover the truth.
GAMEPLAY
Most of the puzzles in this game require you to find the code to a terminal, so it can be a bit repetitive. However, the process of finding clues through the search engine is fun. You will learn the lore and backstory of the game along the way.
STORY
The storyline is decent, the twist are maybe a bit predictable but personally I feel the ending is a bit abrupt. The buildup of the mystery is nice, but the ending is pretty disappointing.
DIFFICULTY
The puzzles have medium difficulty. Not hard, but challenging enough to make you feel like a detective. You need to find the right keyword to search and read the information given carefully, or else you might miss some important clues. And if you ever got stuck, dont worry. The game provide you with a hint system. GRAPHIC & VOICE ACTING The game's graphic have a retro style. I have no problem with it, but I think the graphic might not be for everyone. The voice acting is decent in my opinion. It helps deliver the mysterious feel of the game.
RECOMMENDED
Although I don't like the ending, it's still a fun game in my opinion. Worth to try it if you want to play something short.

Not my usual genre, but I really liked this one! Lots of fun but manageable puzzles with a really interesting mechanics. I loved the search function, what a cool idea! Nice bonus how it fits with the narrative. Saw some complaints about the art style but I really liked it, added a lot to the game's visual identity. I wasn't that enthralled by the game's story, it was serviceable but not anything too groundbreaking. I'm mixed on the ending, too, but it works fine enough. Would recommend as a fun, innovative, cool-looking escape game with a side of mystery/light horror.
Nice short detective game
非常棒的游戏,竟然是学生制作的!氛围营造很好,文本逻辑严密,搜索系统也是很大的亮点,总之10/10推荐
its very insightful and "shocking". The puzzles are so good, tho it took me some time to find the key in wine cabinet. Its good that i did not use any hint to pass the game. However, im still confused who Hazel really is. Why Mr Ravel has only 1 child? I thought Jasmine was the 1st child and violet was the 2nd. And Hazal detective is in Violet's brain chip.
An interesting puzzle game using a search bar to open locks. Cool concept and it handles it well enough to get through the full game. 6/10
História bem simplesinha, mas o sistema de investigação é muito gostosinho de usar.
