Great game and decent story. Gameplay is fun, it's a beat em' up more than a shooter. Be prepared though, it isn't very polished but it does have great performance. I recommend downloading a mod to disable TAA DOF and chromatic aberration early on.

Classic example of a dumb fun game. Playing it on Normal difficulty and bosses are still fair but sorta tough, Usually get em down within 2 or 3 tries. Normal waves aren't that hard, but its a fun turn your brain off kind of game. Interesting upgrades and perks. Nothing out of the ordinary, but definitely enjoyable and fun. Classic 7/10.

Great game, great monster design, great action combat

PRO: - ambientazione - grafica ed effetti - combat system - bossfight impegnative ma accettabili CONTRO - bilanciamento difficoltà - telecamera e schivata - sviluppo abilità deludente - glitch e bug vari - fasi finali tediose e frustranti - lentezza del cambio armi Il gioco è molto bello e divertente per le prime 6-7 ore, e dà il meglio di sé giocato in coop. Le ambientazioni sono curatissime con alcuni scorci spettacolari, un ottimo uso dei colori, delle luci, e una buona effettistica delle armi. Le creature sono meno ispirate. Il combattimento è soddisfacente, anche se le armi sono decisamente castrate per favorire gli scontri corpo a corpo, che nelle fasi finali diventano molto meno divertenti, e i danni inesistenti. Da metà gioco in poi, e soprattutto negli ultimi capitoli, il bilanciamento dei combattimenti e la costruzione delle arene creano una "difficoltà artificiale". Gli scontri smettono di essere divertenti ed appaganti. Negli ultimi livelli le aree sono zeppe di nemici pesanti (e grossi) in spazi troppo stretti, rendendo di fatto l'evasione e la schivata difficile da usare. Di tutte le cose potenziabili, proprio la schivata rimane sempre la stessa dall'inizio alla fine, e non è un granché, mentre la telecamera non aiuta negli attacchi alle spalle (che diventano la regola). A un certo punto il gioco smette di proporre nemici nuovi e scontri sensati, ma vengono messi nel mucchio nemici pesanti per battaglie estenuanti, lunghe e ripetitive, in spazi ristretti. Le fasi finali sono pura e semplice frustrazione, anche la varietà di situazioni che rendeva il combattimento più interessante nelle fasi iniziali, sparisce. Lo scontro diventa sempre meno leggibile, i nemici spugne da proiettili. Tutto ciò che era divertente ed appagante svanisce nella ripetitività dei combattimenti. Anche esplorando e raccogliendo risorse, la progressione del personaggio è moooolto lenta,. Consigliato solo in sconto e se volete provarlo per qualche ora, meglio se in compagnia. Ma se ci tenete a completare la campagna, allora auguri, imparerete ad odiarlo. Completata la campagna l'ho disinstallato. E non lo giocherò mai più.

[i]I want to point out that i consider that i used to kind of like the game and i am writing this after a few days of co-op with some problems, and in the highest diff these got the absolute extreme. In normal and high dif, specially playing alone this game was kinda overall good, but seeing how some things were left unfinished and the rest of this mess... they should be sued for even asking for 50 € Again, this all comes from the multiplayer experience = If u want chievements or to play in co-op specially high level forget about this game, they don't even deserve to have this sh1t in any shop in the world just based on what a load of trash this is, trust me you have no idea how badly programed is[/i]. Extremely buggy co-op half way made, full price is a complete scam, if u see base game for 5 or 7 € it's kind of fine for solo playing. Expect multiplayer to work like trash, and poorly organized in pretty much every possible way, the ammount of crashes and desyncs specially if there is even the slightest ammount of ping between players and even more in specific moments. There are many things in the game that are quite good, designs and atmosphere for example, in general if it were not for the insanely poorly finished they did not even give to the game and again, if it worked properly and was not so farmy towards the end and some achievements, i could say that 20 bucks wouldnt be crazy, but as it is? 10 would be already expensive. Highest difficulty is absurdly unbalanced when it comes to some fights that are not vs bosses, between bugs and messed up things and desyncs it can take the fun and the challenge completely away from it. I played it 2 times so far, i had time to experience it solo and multi specially multy was quite a dissappointment still u can play the game if u are patient enough. · If this game doesn't scratch your itch specially if u seek co-op games, take a look on Remnant or Lords of the Fallen.
