Different year, same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They tried with tutorials, with temporal unlocks and now with the PvE area, and they continue failing. For every new player trying to learn, there are 100 veterans hunting you. You wont las one hour without dying, but there is a convenient way to fix it, buy omega, buy plex, but skill injectors, spend money and more money and more money. Thats it, spend money or stop playing in three days.
I played EVE Online for a little over a month last year with my other account not linked with steam. Recently, I came across a BBC video covering a major faction war that took place around November to December 2025. The conflict involved players and alliances that had spent years, in some cases decades, building their empires. One faction suffered a devastating defeat, and its leader eventually quit the game along with others who spent time and thousands of money to play this game. Watching that story reignited my interest and convinced me to log back in. When I returned, I had forgotten most of the controls and mechanics. Thankfully, my interface setup, tabs, and configurations were still intact. After spending some time reacquainting myself with the game, I had a realization. EVE Online is not just a game. It is almost a hobby, a lifestyle, and in some cases a second job. The depth is staggering. There is always another goal, another skill to train, another ship to build, another market opportunity to chase, or another war to participate in. At the same time, that depth comes with a cost. The game demands a significant investment of time and attention if you want to experience its most rewarding aspects. I realized that if I fully committed to EVE right now, it would consume a large portion of my waking hours, time that I would rather dedicate to other goals and projects I want to accomplish. Because of that, I cannot broadly recommend EVE Online to everyone. If you have a long list of personal ambitions, hobbies, or responsibilities that already compete for your time, be aware of what you are getting into. EVE rewards dedication though at times it is small, and it can easily become the center of your gaming life. That said, if there ever comes a day when I decide to live like a recluse, disappear into a virtual universe, and fully immerse myself in a single game, EVE Online would be near the top of my list. For now, im uninstalling.

This "game" was just clicking buttons on a menu. Boring slop.
this game high key sucks because i didnt read much of it first so thats my fault but go enjoy it if you like to play in the mud and eat it too
The userbase (the heart of any MMO) simply isnt there anymore. Either we've aged out, or gotten fed up. Eve, in its current form, doesnt fit.
juice ain't worth the squeeze
Full-on subscription based game masked as a free to play (Yes, technically you can play for free but you're extremely limited to what you can do and your only worth will be to be killed by Omega players with a superiority complex that get off on killing newbies) with archaic game mechanics to milk players off of their money and time. 30 hours was more than enough to realise that I'd rather not waste my time with this game even if I were to pay the monthly subscription.
Signal scanned to 100% Cannot warp-to; no Scanned Signal plus the 'simulation' is just clicking on thou8sands of menus, with some obligatory graphics tossed in
boring
