The userbase (the heart of any MMO) simply isnt there anymore. Either we've aged out, or gotten fed up. Eve, in its current form, doesnt fit.
Different year, same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They tried with tutorials, with temporal unlocks and now with the PvE area, and they continue failing. For every new player trying to learn, there are 100 veterans hunting you. You wont las one hour without dying, but there is a convenient way to fix it, buy omega, buy plex, but skill injectors, spend money and more money and more money. Thats it, spend money or stop playing in three days.

This game is not free to play, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. War thunder is about 5x less expensive to play, and its not like you actually get anything constant either, its a subscription that costs more than my streaming services.
Realistically it's an old style MMO where you need to pay a monthly fee to play the game, however they advertise that's not true. I barely played this game, I'm capped on everything I am physically able to do without paying the subscription, unless I just wanna do the same loop over and over and over and over and over...... And in fact, a reshuffle of the abilities caused me to lose some I used to have. So yeah.... The game has a free version, like WOW had a free version. Free to level 20, then you pay. THE PROBLEM however is that you can't just BUY for like 3 months and play those 3 months. No. You need to buy 6 months to play 3 because you have to train offline for 50 years, OR PAY MORE MONEY.
Was fun 15-20 years ago Now it's just like getting bullied at school, new players have no chance in hell of getting into this game past the new non pvp starting zone.... Sad, game is fun, community is dead.
bad interface
Lost in Space Without a Purpose
The trailer looks exciting—like Crossout or World of Tanks, but in space. But instead of actually playing, you just keep clicking "Next" to sit through dialogue between two AIs. You’re thrown into space without a tutorial or any explanation; the basic controls aren't explained, nor is the game's objective. I have no idea what the game wants me to do. It tells you to "warp" somewhere without explaining how to use the warp function. You get sent to locations without knowing why. There is simply a total lack of explanation or any sense of connection to the game. Essentially, you just drift aimlessly through space and get frustrated by the non-existent controls after clicking through another 20 minutes of dialogue. No thanks—I’d rather have something with action, or at least a clear purpose and goal.
