é muito viciante apesar de feio...
This is a straight up, easy-going mmorpg. It has an old school feel, a simple interface and caters to both passive play and grinding. There may not be thousands of players on at once, but the main server does hit nearly 1000 at any given time. Other players are generally pretty receptive to partying, though it's not required. Most new players will find that they can solo the main quest (getting you to about level 60) and then likely pick up more party invites as they grind through fishing, trials (party instances), and remnants (aka instanced boss fights). One of the more enjoyable elements of Eterspire is the level of sarcasm constantly omitted by the NPCs. It's unique in the way that the game doesn't take itself too seriously, all things considered. Generally speaking, it skips the whole long-winded "woe is me, please help!" story building for snarky comments and silly conversation. There is no actual need to purchase anything in this game. But the biggest bonus for paying the one-time purchase upgrade of $20, cosmetics aside, is a mount and access to some "purchase only" areas. Mounts are the only item in the game that improve your travel speed. I got 25 hours into the game before making the purchase, just to make sure I enjoyed it. And the extra areas I gained access to effectively grant me access to more cosmetics. Which is fine. The only complaint I personally have revolves around fishing: it's an auto-fish setup. There is no timing or action involved. That makes it passive as well as super boring. So passive that you can likely grind fishing while doing chores or working in another screen. It also opens the opportunity for your fishing party to become a social party, as most other players are just waiting around. Which is a bit of a shame, because this game could use a bit more interactive content. But that said, if you're a really invested in cosmetics for your player, you'll absolutely want to grind away at fishing, as it becomes a key method of doing so. Now that I'm 60 hours in and level 76 (out of 160 levels), I can confirm that there are still quests to finish, things to do, bosses to fight and development is still active in this game, the last major addition being just under a month ago as of this review. So, it's a good game. An additional bonus of being able to play on a mobile device, especially when you're grind-fishing, is actually pretty useful. tips: if you don't intend to make a purchase, sell your fish-sticks to NPCs. If you're unsure, hold onto them. Other than that, it's hard to make any kind of big "mistake" in building your character that will cause you to do an entire rebuild or restart. Stuck or looking for a mob? Ask for help in the server chat and you'll get an answer pretty quick. Though there have been some reviews that mention some kind of player elitism, I have been partying mostly with level 120+ players and have yet to see it. Have fun!
