Worth a try. Better with friends. I've had my fair share of fun learning the game, but after that you really start to notice the balance problems (including fundamental ones), and the fun starts to fade away. Having to play evening into night to have a match on a EU server (especially a ranked one) doesn't help the situation. Other than that, the game is quite unique and feels somewhat fresh. The amount of QoL features is surprising for game by a small team. Some character designs are really nice, but some are generic. Devs are still active, but seemingly unable to balance different gamemodes and the character roster, while actively pumping out new ones.
