Not worth it at this price
player development takes ages even with 5 star coach wonky ass mechanics and lack of variety after 2-3 years really easy to resell players for up to one million per 2-3 months from free agency money mechanics make minimal sense sponsors grant no money strategy mechanics are cool and all but the you can see how the round logic calculation works simulating sucks and the numbers are 100% fake talents develop too slow, its a video game ffs too much AI generation on the shop, + some of these bootcamp prices are absurd, S tier sponsors don't give enough money hard difficulty not hard just extremely sluggish really wonky in a good way sometimes just gets boring quickly hope this game develops better in the future give me my money back
tl;dr a coinflip game about shooting hockey pucks with the faces of cs pro players taped on them. needs more focus on gameplay for what its worth the concept is intriguing. the in-game roster trades possible by the player and AI can lead to superteams that initially seem exciting, but the gameplay is pretty bland and after the first 8-10 hours of playing got pretty boring fast. nonsensical and buggy scenarios that require no skill besides pressing a button to stack in the right spot. don't get me wrong, there are exciting moments in the game, but you will probably be fast forwarding through it too fast to really understand what happened besides the scoreboard telling you. i actually enjoy the premise the game has to offer, if you are a geek about cs esports you can get more mileage out of it by chuckling at the roster moves you can make. the financial system is pretty sweet and the training conceptually is nice but ultimately feels like pulling teeth by lack of real interactivity. if this is the first in a series of updates / games to come, it is an alright first shot, but as a standalone game it is not worth playing very long. if there is more to offer from this, i hope there is a way to control each character to a degree with more strategy mechanics, and actual interactive models you can see interact with each other--besides hockey pucks with pointy ends. maybe you could even take control of a bot and play a round out?
