I really enjoyed the puzzles, and the artwork. This is a very nice little indie game!
More a proof of concept than an actual game Escape the Dark Tower is an escape room game in MSDOS look. You can navigate through a bunch of rooms and solve simple puzzles to escape from the tower. It's quite fun but after 30 minutes you're out. I really like the pixel art of the game. It could be gret if it contained material for several hours of gameplay and an immersive story.
This delightful indie gem packs punch despite its size. Charming retro pixel art bursts with color, while catchy tunes set the perfect tone for quirky adventures. Clever puzzles that tickle your brain without frustrating, kept me glued to the screen. The game's just the right length - satisfying without overstaying its welcome. For its friendly price, you're getting a treasure trove of fun that far exceeds value. Don't miss out!

Gioco bellissimo, enigmi divertenti, bisogna usare il mouse, non molto pratico su steam deck. Beautiful game, fun puzzles, you have to use the mouse, not very practical on steam deck.
This is a “short game” in the same way that a delicious piece of candy is a “short meal”. A sweet collection of puzzles, made from beautiful pixel art, wrapped in just enough story to set the mood. It is self-contained: all the clues are in the game itself. It’s nearly the platonic form of an escape room, with everything extraneous stripped away: no stressful timer, no tedious dialogue, no waiting for a character to walk up the stairs. And in spite of that, it has multiple endings! Don’t get me wrong: I love immersive games with good writing and suspense, but I also love how this game is focused on doing one thing really well. A piece of candy that also tried to meet my nutritional needs would fail to be good as candy or as a vitamin. You deserve a treat!
Nice bite-sized puzzler.
This game is short and sweet, a surprisingly well made point and click adventure that captures both the essence of a puzzle solving experience and the pixel graphics of the good old days. For me its best asset is the art, which hits the right spot. It's quite on par with the triple A titles of the early 90's, the golden era of VGA adventures. It lacks any characters to interact with and doesn't have much of a story, but everything that is in it is done the right way. I'd love to see more games from this developer, and I wish them as much success and self-confidence as it takes to realise what I recognise as a great potential.
Cool little game, throw the developer a couple of bucks and pick it up if you like point and click style adventure/puzzle games.
A good short game.
It's fun, well designed but short. The price reflects this well though and it is polished well too so value is solid. The puzzles are fair and good observational and basic puzzle skills will see you through. Good for a quiet afternoon or break time.
