About
ESCAPE CONDITION lets you take control of AI to shape your city's future. Will you choose a Cyberpunk path that offers tremendous personal power through Cybernetics - or a Solarpunk path that removes most AI from society in favor of sustainability?

Determine your life path and the future of your city with your choices. Will you usher in a Cyberpunk future or a Solarpunk one?

Once you join The Resistance, they use a subconscious communication network to give you the advantage as you face overwhelming odds to give control back to the people. When your choices are made, it's time to fight to take back the city.

I like the shoot-y bits when it worked. I think the weapons glitched up on me and I was only able to use the magic? The game also features various character sheets and loadouts that you can choose from. Despite it's faults I'm still intrigued to see how this one develops in future. Video: https://youtu.be/Jrfmzy0stE8 Disclaimer: I received a free copy of the game to make content. I'd like to start out with the good. There's a branching arc in how you play depending on the choices you make when it comes to decisions on how you deal with an AI. It's a very cool aspect, and it's the best part of the game. The gunplay, unfortunately, feels a bit lackluster. While the guns feel alright themselves, the enemies don't really feel like they react to them. It becomes an even bigger problem when you fight enemies that are armored, because it just feels like you're fighting a sponge in a human suit. There's also a surprising lack of ammunition, and the lack of a melee attack outside of a crude wrench/axe attack makes your trek through the level(s) heavily reliant on hoping for the best. I wasn't able to make it past day 2, or the second set of levels. Too little ammo, floating enemies, and an overall frustration at the sponge-factor of the enemies makes me feel like this is either not quite for me or I'll need to check it much later on in the future.
