The UI is a little rough, but the GAME is great. Plus they give you access to 100% of the cards from the start and only charge for cosmetics. If you have nostalgia for MTG, but don't actually want to PLAY MTG this is a good replacement. Fast gameplay and multiple play formats are available.
Free offline card game with multiple play modes and fully voice narrated story mode with two different difficulties. The card art looks good too. It's a bit too slow for me personally even with the animation speed turned all the way up. But you might enjoy checking it out!
This by far my favorite ECG

Convinced me to buy the physical game. Although this implementation is far from perfect, it seems bug free and is good to learn the rules and try/practice the game.
probably the worst tutorial you'll ever find to a game, but once you figure things out on your own, it's pretty fun.
In English: Wise wizard, transports epic's physical game (which I remember being a non-collectible card game) into the digital world with some lights and some shadows. The good things: you have all the cards including the expansions already available, and there is the simplicity of the game and the ability to start a game quickly. There is the dark draft, which in a game like this where there are so many good cards always involves painful decisions, and is a bit of a game within a game. Negative notes: There is only the dark draft (cool), the 30 draft (quick but limiting), there was the 45 draft with 30 decks that allows you to correct the draft maybe too varied. After several games I notice that in draft 30 the pc to decks often very coherent, with all the cards that are needed for an epic deck to be balanced (targeted removals, board wipe, graveyard bounces, and banish of the opponent's graveyard and banish of single cards (damn you psionic storm!)) I would like to say a few words about its physical counterpart, which I have been playing for more than five years and have made known around, and why in my opinion it is limiting to think of this game as a poor clone of magic. These are considerations that remain valid for this digital incarnation as well. The debt to magic is obvious, but fortunately compared to its noble father it does not inherit its limitations, first of all the land mechanism that fills the deck with useless cards that serve only as a game engine but are useless weights. Secondly relying on a unique deck full of strong and articulated cards, but ncored by a rigid and well paced mechanic. With epic I can play with anyone, and I don't have to fear its super-calibrated pre-made deck with deadly combos that kill the game, you have to create the game and see the combos with the cards you have, which is very intriguing. In my opinion the limit of epic is the coexistence of cards designed in a constructed perspective, in a game that in the end gives its best in draft.
This deserves to be the most popular customizable card game in the world, both for the clever game design and for the fact that YOU CAN USE EVERY CARD IN THE GAME RIGHT FROM THE START, FOR FREE. That said, in order to fully enjoy it, those coming from other customizable card games will need to unlearn some habits as they adapt to this game's unique design choices, but it's very much worth the effort.
