this was the worst game ive ever played

This definitely feels like not only a solo project MMORPG but a solo project MMORPG by a relatively inexperienced developer. The UI is atrocious, the game itself feels like a kit was used and random assets were added, the combat is very "from a kit" in how it plays. The game world is uninspired. There might be more mispelled words than correctly spelled ones once you eliminate "a", "the" and other very common words. "Loggin" being the first I identified as mispelled. I'm not entirely sure what the ultimate goal of this game is, but it's nowhere near being release ready in it's current form.
"EOEOnline" is an abandoned Early Access Unreal asset flip... wow, we really are doing the bucket list of toxic crap games should never do, aren't we? And no bucket list of shady game dev activities is complete without a nasty P2W cash shop, so that's taken care of here, too. I've reviewed a lot of games and I very rarely say this, but EOEOnline truly is a contender for one of the worst games to exist, ever. It's just that bad. What do you do in the game? Nothing, it's a dead MMO with no players, just the developer sitting around waiting for people to spend money in his cancerous cash shop. Disgusting. The developers abandoned this 10 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. Despite not being able to finish the game, the developers apparently had all the time in the world to build a working cash shop microtransaction system and financial transaction back end into the game. That shows the developers primary goal was just to set out to gouge cash from Steam gamers just like mobile devs do with mobile peasants. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
very early access review: The camera movement is tied to the cursor placement, causing my resolution to continuously spin if i tried to edit my character. I ended up as a male or female otter with a weird wig. Thats cool an all, was able to skip the tutorial which is also cool. You guys even voiced the dialogue, awesome. My biggest gripe I think is tied to the Ping. It was hovering around 1k, which in turn had my game running 5-15 fps a lot which I simply cant do.
Out of all of the games on steam, you came across this one. It is most definitely a game! It is absolutely one of them. This is all I can say.
this is an incredible experience! im excited for your future endeavors, samuel verheyden!
