Entwined: Strings of Deception

One of the best HOG i ever played. Good story, nice voice acting, good puzzles, very nice music, smooth graphics although they aren't widescreen and entertaining. A must for the HOG lovers.

Not bad. I thought the story was interesting. About half way through the game, though, I tended to find myself wandering around trying to figure out what to do next. Usually I would just stumble upon a hidden object scene, but sometimes I would find some item that I had managed to miss picking up. There are a lot of hidden object puzzles running from easy to medium difficulty. There is one HO scene where I found it impossible to find the Paw Print because [spoiler]it was a black print on a black background[/spoiler]. Rather unfair. There are a few other types of puzzles which are pretty easy. Expect around 4 hours of gameplay. Best to get it on sale. Will not work on Linux without installing the MS MPEG4 V2 codec, which I did not attempt.

No bugs occured. No Bonus game. Nice to play. Not too many HOGs for me. Nice for reduced price.

Great old school game I recommend to buy on sale but I think the game is great. My only gripe it wish they allowed you to teleport from the map, but this is an older game

Casual game with minimal difficulty. You have some pretty basic hidden object parts and there are only a hand full of puzzles. The hidden object parts are quite plentiful but many are repeated areas and the puzzles should require no hint or guide. You are a detective solving a murder of a man in his mansion. Wife and staff, being suspects. There really is no depth to the story but that's okay. One unique thing in this game is, being a detective, you have a case file you can access. It has info on the suspects that has information updated on them as you discover things. General information is updated in there as well. Updated information comes in the form of paper clipped pictures, notes, and handwriting. It is very simple but I have never seen that before and wish more HO games did this. It gives a lot more personalty to a game where you are a detective. Overall it's an okay game that should take about 3 hours to finish.
