Amazing game !
I would describe this survival RPG as a mile wide & deep. The combat is simple yet satisfying. If you chose just base building, you could spend hours building a palace. What I like most is the grind. Chasing skill points to experience how powerful I can get. Even in Early access the game is really stable. In 66 hours, not a single crash. The graphics are decent. About on par with Tainted Grail. It has me hooked.

An jeder Ecke kann man was finden.
I have played this through 4 times. It’s brilliant. Completely customisable regarding difficulty and game play. The base building is so detailed and the best I have ever played. A lovely mix of puzzle and combat. Also really beautiful. Highly recommended
I was initially sceptical of this game. Turns out I was just a dummy. As someone who has played Valheim a lot, I thought this game was just being a cheap Valheim game. But no - its completely different, and I think its also better in some aspects. Don't get me wrong, I love Valheim - its fun, its good, but there are many things that bug me the wrong way. In Enshrouded, you have MUCH larger height limit, you can build what you want and almost as high as you want. The only limit is that you get an area limit - in Valheim you simply extend it with more workbenches. And in Valheim you have a system where your buildings need support or else they fall off. In Enshrouded, you level up by getting XP by doing things. Its the same in Valheim, but you don't have skill points in Valheim. You just --- do something X amounts of time and you level up. In Enshrouded, you level up then spend skill points on a unique skill tree. Why unique? Because unlike in many of the games of this type, you don't spend skill points to unlock 1 new extra building or something - you actually get new abilities and unlock attributes. You also have a grappling hook, glider, and you have to enter Shroud, where you die over time. You have bosses you have to fight in order to defeat the Shroud in this area. I haven't come far yet, so I don't know if there are teleportation gates or not - so what I've done is that I've built a home base, and I simply build a new base in the area where I know I will be going a lot at the moment --- and when I'm done, I just pack up and go and make a new mini base. It has worked thus far. I am not playing on any custom modes or anything. And my major complaint thus far is that levelling - just like in Valheim --- takes for-effin-ever.
get the game, ask questions later. i could actually shed a tear with how beautiful this game is. the building? unmatched. sims who? i refused to buy the game back when my dear friend recommended it to me. i now see the errors of my way. 23 hours in the last 3 days since i bought it speak for itself.
