Enshrouded

52 hours in and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. This is the first survival-crafting game in a long time that doesn't just throw you into a sandbox and tell you to "make your own fun." Every time I think I'm heading toward my next objective, I get distracted by a cave, a ruined city, a hidden chest, a new NPC, or another piece of gear. The world constantly rewards exploration. The building system is honestly the best I've ever used. It's incredibly flexible without becoming frustrating, and the voxel system lets you create almost anything you can imagine. Building a cozy farmhouse one day and a castle carved into a mountainside the next never gets old. The progression is what really hooked me. Quests unlock new crafters, new stations, new building pieces, farming, and new ways to explore instead of simply handing you bigger numbers. It always feels like you're working toward something meaningful. It's not perfect. Combat is good, but I wish there were more enemy variety, and I still hope one day we'll be able to permanently reclaim areas from the Shroud. Those are really my biggest complaints
