THIS GAME HAS GIVEN ME A NEWFOUND SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT AND APPRECIATION FOR NEGATIVE 5.5 TRILLION METER LONG EGGPLANTS <3
Idle & Incremental Lovers "bigly" recommends Enlarge Your Eggplant : Top-notch "enlarge your eggplant" innuendos! The incremental/gameplay part is meh and basic, but it's just a pretext to unlock many hilarious cutscenes. Must buy if you're into lewd allusive humor! + I really liked the art style and the soundtrack. It had that retro feeling. + I have an anecdote. I missed one cutscene and tried to find it by searching for a video walkthrough. Turns out there are many "enlarge your eggplant" videos out there, but serious gardening tips ones. I was still in the innuendo state of mind though, and couldn't stop laughing looking while browsing. I don't think I could ever see an eggplant the same way as before. + Bigger = Better? A philosophy dissertation. +/- The real gameplay part is really repetitive and simple, but it was somewhat addictive to try and master the art of approaching the limit without exceeding it. - Only 4 upgrades. *I've done my best to quit making innuendos, but it's hard. So. Hard.* Found this review helpful? Ugh. I was on the fence on where to go on this one. On one hand it is a funny little clicker/idler with a funny story line. On the other it feels short and empty. You're not happy with the size of your eggplant and you're jealous of your neighbors. You click and hold your mouse button to increase the "pump" on your eggplant to get PP, which increases your eggplant size. You buy small upgrades* to make your PP bigger, to get new cutscenes. There's maybe an hour and a half to 2 hours of content. I chuckled a few times at the eggplant jokes. But, it got stale. The cons: ~ The upgrades don't feel good. You'll be putting most of your money into PP Mult + and Combo Upgrade. "Time Slow Upgrade" was not fun, and I rarely used it. Did not really make it any easier. "Overflow penalty -" was pointless as well, imo. There's no indications on how much what upgrades you're buying are going to go up when you buy it. ~Achievements. There's only 5. 1 of which you get just for launching the game. There is one where you need a 30 streak combo. This is pretty close to, if not 100% impossible without a tool. I had to whip up an AHK script, record me getting a number high enough to get a combo, then replay it. Even then, there is very little time to be able to. I got it with 1 second remaining with a tool. The "200,000,000 PP" achievement is broken in the sense that it does not properly track PP. You can still get it, but it takes a LOT more than 200m PP. ~No way to get back to main menu without exiting the game completely. The main menu holds the cutscene option, which shows you how many cutscenes you've unlocked, how many you still have, and if you may have missed one (easy to do late game). There is not a way currently to go back to the menu once you start playing. I *do* recommend this game, I just wish it was a bit more polished and/or set around the $0.99-$1.49 price range.
I was there three thousand years ago. I was there the day the strength of Men failed 🍆
the numbers got too damn big after beating the game. it was funny while it lasted.
It's a quite simple game. There are 4 upgrades, and you play a minigame to get a bigger eggplant. Depending on the size of your PP (plant power), you get a different cutscene. Previously the ending was bugged for me, but this was fixed by the developer.
