So far enjoying the direction the game is going in. Keep it up
Dunno but content feels so basic, like they don't really care - factions and story felt kinda underwhelming and the whole gameloop is worse then 1. To me, this feels like a paradox game, with all the added content coming in later dlc's. Bought it, but wouldn't buy it again.
different than the first but still good (in my opinion)
I have played Humankind a lot and it is really close to that (Unfortunately never EL1). The fact that the map is expanding and you can somewhat work with the obstacles (bridges) is really nice and I would like to see more of that. There is only one downside tho - Humankind and EL2 are insanely addicting.
Most of what I enjoyed in Endless Legend has made the jump to 2 unchanged, but other aspects are still different enough to make it feel like a fresh game. In particular, I enjoy that it's not on Auriga. The new planet's environmental cycle is much more interesting than seasonal changes, and it gives the game a very distinctive feel for the beginning, middle, and end of a run. Looking forward to there being more factions and their traits to play with in a customized faction.
Very fun game. Love all the new additions and mechanics compared to the first Endless Legend. Graphically it looks outstanding even tho the cinematics seems to be AI made (Enchanced). Sadly the army customization from Endless Legends 1 didnt make it to htis one, items cannot be crafted using materials, only obtained from loot and only usable by heroes. For units this is instead replaced with "Specializations" aka Class Upgrade. Also that custom factions does not have the Faction Quests they are based upon like in Endless 1
Game runs excellent, great performance for even an EA title. It uses a mix of old and new 4X mechanics, and will feel familiar to fans of the series or genre. It's combat is much more compelling than that of typical 4X titles, and the factions are all very unique. The questing and monsoon systems really helps to keep you focused on an objective, and not just fall into the end turn loop. City planning, season prepping, and the intricate combat make this game overall a very strategic experience. I felt mentally engaged the whole time.
great game if you liked endless space 2 or found Civilization disappointing.

I put 150 hours into Endless Legend 1. I'm looking forward to putting 150hours into EL2. I'm having fun so far, looking forward to more fun in the future!
