Really enjoy the tidefall mechanic.

Good game, has some hooks to it but it feels like its missing something i can't quite place.
Alright, as a fan of AMPLITUDE's games particularly their 4K. this one still needs some work, however thats not to say its been a lot of fun. Pros: (with bias) In my opinion it feels like a natural build off of endless legend 1. Imo it has "fixed" a lot of issues that endless 1 had, such as influence feeling useless, and dust being WAAAAAAAAAY to strong. Combat still feels fun, although heros are a little strong, but I wont complain because they are only strong if you don't auto the fight. otherwise they are sorta useless. I think the city building feels better, and more fun, making mega cities is enjoyable. The minor factions are awesome. I know I disagree with others, but the writing is pretty nice. Cons: (again bias) obvi the game is early access so there are bugs, and balancing things to do. Honestly there are a lacking number of factions to play, and some are stronger than others by pretty sizable scale, so that needs to be fixed up. sometimes the AI are non-threats, and others they are the most annoying pieces of crap ever who randomly attack without warning. while I mentioned they fixed the issue with dust. Influence is a little bit of a focus to a degree that it takes some adjusting if coming form endless 1, maybe not really a con but a rough learning curve. Win cons feel a little unpolished right now, however they are working on it at time of writing this review.

Pros: The best graphics of any 4X game I've ever seen. Deeply unique factions with widely varying playstyles. Reuses the excellent territory acquisition and battle systems from Humankind. Cons: Still early access, so no custom factions. Currently very few factions, not enough to populate a large map even. (Although I don't knock them for this assuming they eventually add more to the base game) Some things about the hero system feel off still. The *idea* of heros having a companion seems great but it doesn't affect gameplay or decisions other than giving a small yeild/strength bonus. They should expand this system somehow. Overall thumbs up
Reminds me of Alpha Centauri. Good 4x game with asymmetrical factions and a changing world. Runs ok on steamdeck. (LSFG 2.0)
Love this game! Very addictive
Really enjoy my experience with the game so far! Would be cool to be able to use the Faction leaders in the game though, feel like a missed opportunity! But who know maybe it can be an DLC or something
