Board game is good, lame that they sold it and never finished the online version...

Well I kinda liked it. It's not worth the asking price, not in its current state, but it does reproduce the game's vibe quite well. It's all over a bit too quickly, and weirdly, it doesn't have the optional modes that are in the physical game. With just a bit more budget, and a slightly bigger dev team, this could be great fun. I absolutely LOVE the board game incidentally!
After having played the actual board game once or twice, this feels like a great way to get accustomed to its elegant complexity. I've encountered minor glitched that were somewhat irritating, but did not hinder me from completing the game many times over. The difficult AI level is a worthy opponent and I haven't yet managed to beat it after a few run-throughs. It's faster-paced than the board game since the AI players tend to take far less time to consider their next move and overall follow the gameplay, but that also means that they move quickly and that you have to keep an eye on the movement log in order to know what is going on. Fortunately, you can readily scroll up through it when your turn comes nd take the time to assess the opponents' moves before planning yours. For what I was expecting after reading the other comments, I'm quite satisfied.
