Emi's Solo Ghost Hunting 2 is a 2D survival horror game based on the story of a solo paranormal investigator called Emi, who got a call from a client in order to investigate a haunted property called The Cold House, located just beside a cemetery in California, for proof of the paranormal.
The Cold House was built during the 1800s just on the opposite side of a cemetery located in California by the owner, Tobey Cold. He, along with his wife Mary, lived there happily until the day something tragic happened. Mary accidentally fell down the stairs and died on the spot. It is believed that her spirit still lingers in that house. Later, during the 1900s, he sold the house to Mr. James, who was a popular singer at that time. But during the 1930s, he died in a car accident. It is reported that his spirit still resides in that house, and the sound of guitar playing is often heard.
The house was then sold to the grandfather of Ms. Anna, the current owner of the house, who inherited the property after her father's demise. Since the 2000s, she has lived with her family in that house. They have been experiencing paranormal activities, which include furniture movement, an old guitar playing on its own, knocks on the doors, disembodied voices, weird noises coming from the basement area, dark apparitions, etc. So, Anna called Emi, the solo paranormal investigator, to investigate the property for documenting the paranormal activities.
