Elven Legacy: Siege is the second expansion for the base game which, in turn, is the sequel to Fantasy Wars. The game is now old and targets at very specific gamers: the ones that love turn-based hexagonal strategy (in the spirit of the old Panzer Generals) with RPG elements as you level up regular troops and heroes and obtain artifacts. Pros: + If you loved the previous games you will also love this. A lot of strategy, many possibilities to follow in each map. A lot of units to choose, almost all with advantages and disadvantages. + Lengthy campaign which is split into two small campaigns following different quests and story. + There is an strong RPG elements and having all units surviving and leveling-up is key to win. + Good variety in maps and missions as well as different enemeis (orcs, dwarfs and elves) + As in all related turn-based games it is very addictive especially with challenged to get the gold medal, achieve all side missions or find all artifacts. Cons: - The game is quite hardcore. The difficult, especially in the very first missions, is very high. Later it gets easier as your core army becomes stronger. For the first time in the series in the bonus mission where you play with dwarfs it was impossible to get a gold medal no matter my 4-5 mission restarts. - Serious bugs in some missions (one is almost unplayable unless you download a fix), including in some instances bad translation. - Little to no information is given on some mechanics (I still wonder what how the "willpower" mechanism is implemented) and some map and mission objectives. - Graphics and animation are old and rather poor by today´s standards. All-in-all this is an old, turn-based strategy game which mainly targets a hard-core group of dedicated gamers. Definitely, not for everyone but at such a price you have nothing to lose to try it. Recommended for all of us, the veterans of the first panzer general games.

Identico alle altre espansioni, si differenzia per la caratteristica di "assedio" alle diverse città. A chi piace questo tipo di attacco, piuttosto che diretto o tramite magia, è l'espansione che fa per lui. Altrimenti... carino, bello, ma come gli altri.
