It's free and not that bad to try out.
RPG Maker strikes again! "Elteria Hunter" is one of hundreds of low effort RPG Maker flips spamming the store. It's made with a kit that says it is simple enough for a child. It's just a bunch of canned assets mixed with cringey high school anime club fan fiction. This is a painfully generic, particularly badly made RPG Maker JRPG with the same kind of high school anime club dropout fan-fiction writing we all expect, only somehow everything about this is slightly worse than other RPG Maker asset flips. It's actually a serious achievement for a game to be this bad. And, in a stroke of almost comical delusion, the "developer" behind this garbage wanted FIFTEEN UNITED STATES DOLLARS for it. Like other RPG Maker "games", the game engine is extremely low quality. It displays badly in fullscreen, and has no real graphics settings or HD support. It's not up to the same standard we expect from a modern PC game. We can make the argument that construction kit toys like RPG Maker are intended for making small games and demos and things to pass around with friends. They shouldn't be used as a substitute or "Ez-mode" to allow unqualified amateurs to LARP that they're real, actual game developers. This is just more RPG Maker pixelcrap. The crap graphics are met with even worse gameplay, in no small part to RPG Maker itself being crap, and when combining that with talentless, unqualified developers using a childrens toy to pretend to be real game developers with these fan-fictions, gamers suffer. It seems this was abandoned by the devs 2 years and 9 months ago. It will stay incomplete forever. This kind of unfinished, abandoned game projects just clog the storefront and make it difficult for players to find honest, fully developed games. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $15 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. A peak of 4 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Definitely not. This isn't worth it. I'm paraphrasing another reviewer here, but this should be a paid product... they'd have to pay people to download it.
Second Quest asks you to reach level 10. I have reached max level of 12, and the objective is still not reached. Stuck in Lotus Village. Talked to all NPCs, bought all the hunter allies, got all the gear for them, beat the special slime enemy, but don't see a way to progress further. Can't really recommend due to my own experience.
